Re: pursuit into new target

I have had a similar problem were horse arty has limbered and moved away my Cav pursued could not catch the horse arty but could target a inf Batt in tac formation. We check and talk about if the Inf Could form square and decided they could. But reading the post in this example if the Inf could be c...

Re: Prussian army list

This is is from the ToN errata page 91:  Prussian Army Spring 1813 – Customized Army – 4th Bullet point: DELETE:  entire bullet point (“If used, guards must all be in the same mixed division” So I would say your guard Div does not need to be mixed if you don't want it to be And if I remembering righ...

MOAB

Hey am going to MOAB for a 650 point comp and wonder what to take. Choies are Poles,French,Prussian or Spanish. No overly keen on Spanish due to only one list available. Poles look good but cause of quality small force. Prussians are ok but poorer type troop and French can be same. I am looking to t...

Questions

Have played a few games now and keep running into finer point here are to questions I have Can Arty fire stand and shoot at close range? As part of a reaction to an assault. And if so if the assault goes in what happens to the guns if they lose and there is no inf to run to? On page 71 it state that...

Re: Scenario - Mockern, 16 Oct 1813

Ok no worries I will complete the complete corp and send it to you I have done two Div with a Div of the Cav Rev and Heavy arty. I have worked it out by unit not by total number of troops in a Bde. I have combined some units together. Will send when I have finished.

Re: Scenario - Mockern, 16 Oct 1813

Yea I understand the Prussians are painful to fit into the standard org due their organization. I am have worked it out a bit diffrent to you. I am sorry if I sounded rude that was not my intent  just have diffrent ways. As said was happy with the game and the Prussians are good troops just ne...

Re: Scenario - Mockern, 16 Oct 1813

There was two of us who had played before, myself and trailape. I got to focused on the flank and didnt really help out to much with the Prussians. But saying that I am still not quite sure about the unit sizes I have based my Prussians on one of the corps at Mockern. But over all a good game. But I...

Buildings and other questions

Hello I run it to a few teething problems with the game I played tonight with my mate. First one, if troops are occupying a building can they shoot in the firing phase or defensive? And I believe there is a difference between occupying and defending? Second one, I intercepted a Cav charge and was wi...

Re: Quick Battle Report

I have the army list book :) I used the horse arty to bring the square to wavering the used the Cuirassiers and Carabiners with arty attachment to assault the squares. But once the Brit arty started ganging up on the heavy's and the inf formed square with support it was hard going. Was thinking of t...

Quick Battle Report

Played my third game of FOG N the other night with Trailape and wanted to try my hand at a quick Battle report. I used a French reserve Cav Corp and faced a British Inf 1815 Corp with a light Cav Div. I used one light Div of two lancers and Chasseurs a Cheval with a Med horse Bty and Med Arty Attach...
