I had around 4 complete games before a tourney. I think in the tourney the games steadily become more rapid. Overall that cycled seemed to persist for all players. I would say on average 1/2 the games were done early. I am sure 2 of mine were over around 2.5 hours of play.

Thought I would second the 50paces. Great company to deal with. And for those who paste or plaster the bases the rough surface (it's like a washboard so glue and etc. sticks better) is great. I really like these bases. You can't see the metal attaced to the base of the stand at all, and the magnet s...

The Legion Pike was NOT a Flank charge. Merely made side contact. All in all this complex situation has pointed out some good points to remember. And as a follow up Point, comment. How about this small wrinkle. The LH to the Cat's Right are in Overlap Combat (block of 6, 4 are in frontal contact, th...

Conforming - Photo

http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p267/meledward23/LastRoll-29.jpg So in this photo the Legion (HF) have charged the Cats and Pikes. Nevermind why the they would be so bold as do something like that. They charged straight forward to get into this situation. Conforming, Since they can't jump around...

Ninthplain, exactly. A Wheel without changing the number of bases contacted can change what BG's you impact or how you conform in melee. Shifting to the left when you line up instead of say the right. Which may matter depending on what is going to overlap you on the left as opposed to the right.

Charging with Wheel

I have a question regarding a Charge with a Wheel. The rules I believe clearly state that I can at any point in a charge make a wheel (less than 90) so long as I don't decrease the # of bases making impact contact. (and greater than 1MU, ?) I have a Unit lined up perfectly parrallel with an enemy un...

Pursuit and Terrain

Simple Question, I think. Occured in a game last night, very late and I have not had time to consult the rules again. (Yes, that is my half lame, I am too lazy to look this up). Actually we did look last night, but did not see anything specifically. (Could have been the fact taht it was 1:00AM. Cava...

I don't care about the photo's. But that is a one sexy table Hammy. I love it. I never thought to use a table like that. I come into contact with such tables frequently enough due to my trade. In looking at Camels I can't possibly find a reason to take them. For that reason. Rerolling 6's is bad for combat. BUT absoutely INSANE for Coheison Tests and at 10 points not exactly a deal for "poor" troops. They sound like my Camels , not a single base has ever died , but they have bee...

 Now, all you need to do, is make the table out of sheet metal, have magnetic bases, and you can leave the game in play and fold it up! :( for anyone on the table edge near the wall as you fold it up. Seriously though another Idea beyond the table cover mentioned above. I have seen a pul...

I am doing a 6mm army, the lead is ordered but has not arrived. I already have 2 15mm's and I am in the process of painitng a 10mm. I have yet to do a 6mm army or for that matter see one in person (for ancients). If you have the time I say go for it. My attitude is to get one, build, and play it. If...
