I think he's talking about a unit triggering an ambush, but it's retreat probability triggers and it takes no damage.

- Armoured slingers have relatively good staying power but very low damage against high-end armored units. I got the FTp error as well, then I accidentially discovered I had a code I could use to get the game on my steam page and steam downloaded the patch.

In the battle to leave I clustered all my units in the center to repell the main army and then spread out for loot after the Battle worked farily well. I did the same thing, moved forewards to the river with good defensive positions, sent one guy down to visit the dragon, and my skirmishers and arc...

That's an issue with cloned items stopping the display we have discovered too late. The items are there, just not displayed in the inventory. Will be fixed with next patch, but for now we can only suggest you don't drop items from your units to the inventory. If you currently have clones, the effec...

i have conquered the right most island. how do i get my men off? You can't not unless the unit can fly, swim or has a leap ability. You have to spread your army around too all three islands. I am seeing some real advantages to having ranged units rather than melee units and am considering starting a campaign with only ranged units. - they have a range 2, so have more available hexes from which to launch an attack - spears do not allow a reply attack from the enemy - they can attack fly...

bug, took no damage on attack
I attacked the wounded dragon with my wind riders in the save game linked and the preview showed me taking damage. I did not however take any damage. Admittedly though, you have a bit of a one sided army relying on your Thanes for protection and only having trolls and light units. Because your Devourer only has 3 attacks with their sword (inspect the weapon tooltip), thus he can only kill 3 units of the skeleton squad.
