I know my Kobayashi Maru, heh... I'd say China has the edge in that scene simply because it gets continuous reinforcements of infantry while Japan only got one splurge, as far as I remember anyway.

As near as I can tell, the main difference for the Axis between versions 1.4 and 2.0 is a slight reduction in requisition points per turn. Went from around 170 ish to 100 ish, I think. It's fixed now. Downtime was barely 12 hours so not too bad, although it would be nice to get advance notice for these kinds of things. I assume they're server maintenance?

Got a ton of games going right now so the other player concern is addressed. Aaaand... Multiplayer is taking one of its usual hiatus :( Generally sorts itself out after a few days. Guess it'll be my Rimworld addiction in the interim.

Jgarcia does his turns at a fine rate with me, at least one per day even with extremely demanding maps. Given how well he does I almost wish he'd be slower, heh. I'm a bit hesitant with 4 player maps simply because it's double the odds of something preventing a person doing their turn with 2 player ...
