The Russian Campaign Multiplayer Questions

We plan on starting our first multiplayer game and going to try a big one, The Russian Campaign. I noticed that in hot seat mode for multiplayer you could not save the game. I hope that is not the case in PBEM because there are so many units in this scenario that a complete move may require a number of sessions.

Another question, is there weather and weather effects in this scenario?

No idea about the weather, but online games definitely get saved automatically

The weather does change over the course of the map, but it doesn't actually have any influence or effect. Purely cosmetic / flavour. Since the question was posed eight months ago I'm guessing it's no longer an issue though, heh. Otherwise I'd see if I couldn't nag someone into trying their luck against me in The Russian Campaign.

Unfortunately, there is no way to change the scenario from dry to wet or snowy or any other base condition since those are entirely different tiles set up in the editor. Changing weather is just cosmetic as Karis said.
