GS 2.0 Feedback
The text in the dialog box needs to be smaller.
The third line of text is cropped along the bottom.
And some historical texts appear incomplete, (or may be on a 4th line).
Also had one SS unit check in '39 that determined 'n' number of units.

the experience stars
Doom, Can I suggest you relocate the stars to sit under the unit flag and AP + Strength Values. because 1. They overlap units close by. 2. They float around a bit and are a little distracting 3. The information should be nearer other unit information (like near like) 4. The string format would sit n...

Wow
Great AAR GW.,
Is the A.I. more aggressive or playing differently to the TOW equivalent?
Is rail supply now in effect or only benefiting strat moves?
(and thanks for showcasing my, and all the other modder's efforts here)

I don't want to spoil the party, but the Armchair General Forum threads are immense in scope and the 'robust' discussions that take place there discuss a vast array of historical positions. Would it not be better to carry CEAW's strengths out to a bigger 'gene pool'; (who may be interested in playin...

mod
@Stauffenberg,
Please make your mod available (Slitherine to host?).
Given how few mods exist, (any at all for 1.06?)
I'd love to try it out.
Given there are house rules, can it be played solitaire?
regards

Probably, one of the most balanced appraisals of CEAW I've read.
Thanks

wow
I'm really intrigued as to where you are going with this RkR.
Are you working on another variation scenario or a complete re-work?
-or is this to inspire others?

CEAW & A.T.
Comparing the games is a bit like comparing oranges and mandarins. (not apples in this case, as they're closer...) A.T. Random map/ generator Exemplar scenario editor Slightly odd, in game, unit generation. (counters as 'containers' that carry different unit types) Good supply system Considered Tech...

bcnkor, before downloading, could you give some description to changes or perhaps post a screen or 2 as to what has been altered. -thanks. ...and to the folks at slitherine, are any sanctioned or hosted mods in the pipeline for this game, as it appears that most, (if not all of the mods) in the foru...

Thought that might be the case. my knowledge of WW2 history is not all that exhaustive. But I'm still puzzled while playing as allies in the '39 scenario, why I can't ship the garrison out of Halifax, Canada, and my troops in Cyrenaica are unable to move. Are they awaiting an event trigger? (as Pola...

Question
At the start of the 1939 Scenario, there is a lone, immovable, German Corps unit 5 hexes north of Leningrad.
Is this a glitch? Should the unit belong to Finland?
At the moment it looks a bit like a shag on a rock.

Patch 1.06 Feedback
Great job folks. Downloaded from Matrix, no problems. Strange that tutorial setting back to newbie, and hi-low machine specs. checked again. but WOW what a difference in speed. Game loads in a fraction of the time, and units move smoothly across the map. also, although having seen the screenshots, I...

ETA???
Nice thread hijack guys!
(-not really complaining; good to see the game's being played!)
-but as a matrix purchaser, I'm starting to feel like a 2nd class citizen...
...any news on when the beta, or the 1.05 patch will be available for us too?
