The charging cav then advance 5 inches in the direction they had previously indicated.

Measuring Shooting

The diagrams are quite clear and work well for determining distance fron shooter to target when all are parallel. My question is, what happens when the target is angled. The nearest shooter is easy to meaure but what about the adjoining elements. There is a white line on the diagram on page 83? (my ...

I have generic camp bases - which I use for many armies. Damp tissue paper layered over rough shapes, tiny bits of balsa, card etc. When dried - paint dark khaki, dry brush lighter. Looks like supplies protected from weather by a covering, tarpaulin? Not aesthetically brilliant but does a job. Can't...

Rivers and Coasts

I may have missed it but I can't find anything relating to width of rivers/coastlines.
Most of us of course, will use the stuff we have, and it will be within "reasonable" parameters.
I can see a problem developing though if those parameters are not clearly and officially defined.

Everything you need for set-up seems to be on the last page of the rule book (before Ads page). I can think of no real reason to duplicate this. A QRS is only necessary to speed things up by negating the need to flick through pages. I think therefore that a double sided A4 (Letter) would suffice. I ...

The e-mail I received today from amazon stated

Estimated arrival date: 27/02/08 - 12/03/08

So, I could still be more than a month away!
Anyone know where I could find rules/lists before everyone else is playing FoG V2.0?

Adrianople this weekend

This weekend at the Plymouth convention we are re-fighting Adrianople 378. Little detailed info is available for the battle which gave me a little leeway in drawing up the Orbats. Numbers were roughly similar, around 15,000 each side, maybe 1 or 2 thousand more for the Goths. I wanted a battle where...
