25mm Models Plastic or Metal

Hi There
Looking at a Swiss army in 25mm looking for good figures in UK are there any plastic that would fitr in with the period.

Ive not heard of any specific swiss plastics....... but the GW empire range has been known to be used.

Ebay will produce lots of cheap figures i fyou go the GW route

Ian Speed's Swiss army at Britcon was made up of GW empire plastics.

Check out Wargames Factory, they are a bit behind their initially planned schedule but it looks like they may be about to start churning our 28mm plastics of all sorts.

Not that Swiss appear to be in their plans, at least as yet.

In fact until I hear that players have actually got any of their stuff I've given up on them :(

If a man is six feet tall 1/72 is slightly over 25mm :)

Sadly true :(

That said the 1/72 soft plastics look fine based up for FoG, I would just avoid mixing them with any of the modern 28mm figures.

Personally all but one of my '25mm' armies are actually 1/72nd plastics but I expect that I may end up buying some 28mm plastics in the future.
