With my impression I might be in a minority here, but I'm a rather lazy guy who likes it nice and slow.

Game Speed
Simple question: Can the game speed be modified? - I'm asking because even at 60 % I've got the feeling that the units are racing across the map, and less that 60 % speed is not possible in the settings.

Hmm, there may be a tweak to alter the range of values. I will ask Pip.Adebar wrote:Simple question: Can the game speed be modified? - I'm asking because even at 60 % I've got the feeling that the units are racing across the map, and less that 60 % speed is not possible in the settings.

Re: Game Speed
Good call Adebar. The action takes place too fast in the opponents turn for me to fully absorb what's going on. A pause button would ne nice too.

Miss this too, especially when the phone rings or the tea water is boiling over in the middle of the AI turn ...ianiow wrote:A pause button would ne nice too.

Yes. Would like it slower as well.

A pause button in a turn based game? You've got to be kidding!

Re: Game Speed
Not really, to take stock of individual combats would nice. After all, the dice throwing can be paused on the table topIgorputski wrote:A pause button in a turn based game? You've got to be kidding!

Having options for lower game speeds would be good.

Re: Game Speed
Didn't have to be a real pause button. Would be happy with a simple "Push Esc" function (or something similar) to temporarily interrupt the AI turn. Which can be quite long in larger scenarios.Igorputski wrote:A pause button in a turn based game? You've got to be kidding!

Agreed, why stop at 60%? Unless it's to do with the game engine.Rasputitsa wrote:Having options for lower game speeds would be good.

Re: Game Speed
Another vote for selectable slower speed. What's the rush?
Just getting started with this and would like to absorb, more easily, what is going on.

Re: Game Speed
Yes, I would definitely like slower speed, and it would be handy to pause the enemy at times.

Re: Game Speed
It would require code changes to alter the game speed values. I will add it to the wishlist.
