Actually... according to the latest released FIFA World Ranking, USA are tied in 5th place together with Spain.sum1won wrote:Go yankees!
Wait, uh, soccer?
Ooooops

They have dropped from 4th and are now behind Brazil, Czech Republic, Netherlands and Mexico. Compared with above mentioned England who are ranked 10th...

My native Denmark (who are not playing the WC) is ranked 12th. We intend to rule the U21 EC instead because all the other nations have drafted their top youngsters into their WC squads...

You can see the full ranking here: http://www.fifa.com/en/mens/statistics/ ... 06,00.html
If you want to see how this came about click here: http://www.fifa.com/en/mens/statistics/ ... ,3,00.html
I personally will just enjoy the (hopefully) excellent football on display with no emotions involved what so ever...

Yeah, that'll happen when you get a good team playing a crap onepossum wrote:Man, there seem to be a lot of shut-outs in this world cup.
Err, to an American, a shut-out is when one team doesn't score at all.
England's game 2-0, USA lost 3-0 the other day, and today the Ecuador vs El Salvador game was also 3-0
