Actually... according to the latest released FIFA World Ranking, USA are tied in 5th place together with Spain. 8)

They have dropped from 4th and are now behind Brazil, Czech Republic, Netherlands and Mexico. Compared with above mentioned England who are ranked 10th...

My native Denmark (who are not playing the WC) is ranked 12th. We intend to rule the U21 EC instead because all the other nations have drafted their top youngsters into their WC squads...

You can see the full ranking here: http://www.fifa.com/en/mens/statistics/ ... 06,00.html

If you want to see how this came about click here: http://www.fifa.com/en/mens/statistics/ ... ,3,00.html

I personally will just enjoy the (hopefully) excellent football on display with no emotions involved what so ever... :)

Japan is 18th.

Group F is Brazil, Croatia, Australia, and Japan.
It seems a bit too strong opponents to fight against.

Well, though, watching Brazil's team is fun and quite enjoyable.

I will be happy with any winner that is not Brazil, but I still think the Netherlands have the right stuff this year.

England? Pffft, dream on...

I mean, no offense, but they just have no realistic chance to take the cup.

I think the first game is on a Saturday, which means I won't have to ask for the afternoon off :-p

3 goals in 10 minutes, wow, kind of Midway like situation  .

I must admit Japan have no hope for the second round.

I hope your national teams are doing well.

Japan were unlucky, I had the game on in the background. I was routing for you guys :-( Ah well, don't give up hope yet, you can still make it through. England won the first game and lead the group by 2 clear points already, so I'm hopefully for 1/4 final qualification :-)

USA got whipped by the Czechs 3-0 today. We couldn't even score once.

Ghana? I thought you would support Switzerland...one of the most promising/finest teams in this world cup, BTW.

Man, there seem to be a lot of shut-outs in this world cup.

Err, to an American, a shut-out is when one team doesn't score at all.

England's game 2-0, USA lost 3-0 the other day, and today the Ecuador vs El Salvador game was also 3-0
