: Red Army trilogy

I'm playing Red Steel for now and...
I've noticed that Red Army has the pak front trait by default. It works with configuration: defender , non-core AT (first) and core AT (support). Is it intentional? It'a a huge advantage btw

It's because of the huge AT kill zones in the Kursk Salient, which copied the pakfront idea, but also took it further.

I'm talking about "the quasi-pakfront" available in the 41 and 42 (Red Steel probably Red Star too). Far before Kursk (three scenarios at least). It works only with non-core and core at units.

I'e started the Red Storm just now and:

1. That "overrun" bug is still present. Autosave becomes corrupted. The manual save does not.
2. Why the Panthers & Flamms at the Prokhorovka Tigers , Stugs , Pz IV G , Pz III N,M , and captured T-34 are enough (and far more realistic).
3. "The quasi-pakfront" (without the real specialization taken) works at the Prokhorovka too.

I'm not sure what you mean by "quasi-pakfront". I did a short editor test attacking a Soviet AT aux with core AT behind. No AT support was given. What does happen is AT support for a non AT defender from multiple adjacent ATs - but that is unrelated to pakfront, and same for other countries.

Do you have a save that demonstrates what the issue is?

So what's the difference between at with and without the pakfront ?

Defender is supported by the multiple adjacent ats by default? And no pak front is necessary?

And with the pakfront spec second (and next) ats may not be adjacent?

Will look at the replays and I choose one.

Standard AT support is given to non-AT.

Pakfront allows ATs to support eachother.

But if the defender is AT is it not ?

4. Po 2 Commander bug

After Red Steel I was able to detach the (nice one) Po 2's Commander to the Aircobras unit but not able to re-attach to another unit even the Po 2 ?

This is what I thought but it should be indicated in the "Unit Traits"

How did you arrive to detach the undetachable Air Commander from the Polikarpov Po-2 ?
The Po-2 plane was shot down ? Po-2 plane upgraded ? The undetachable Air Commander was injured ?

No.Nope.Never

After Red Steel I've imported the core units to the Red Storm.

Po 2's (cute) Commander was available to assign (as the others). I did not use her at the Prochorowka (first scenario). So she was available at the second (Rumiancew). I've assigned her to Aircobras unit then.

5. BUG (Red Steel) third scenario Kerch-Eltigen 43

Secondary objective "do not lose more than 4 ships" doesn't work properly. I did lose 1 ship but the objective had became unchecked So my +2 spec lost
