You do realize that it is YOU who represent all of that, don't you? It's a point and click game, not an exercise in political debate an'd imperial hierarchy.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Overall... I agree with your statement 'GomezAdams'… and perhaps it is just as well that it remain just that way. However... 'Historically'... much or even most of the time the Japanese Army and Japanese Navy were nearly two separate entities-at odds with each other... instead only fixating on their own separate agenda's... and only begrudgingly [ somewhat accepted a reduced role for the betterment of the team]… would then relent to partner with the other entity/faction of the Imperial Japanese forces.

So!... what 'CaptainRope1' is angling for is to include a degree of uncertainty into the various operations in the game... so that you could - or would not always be sure to get the support that you were expecting or hoping to get to try to make your endeavor or task a more assured success... as they themselves had other more important goals to finish or accomplish first... before anything else came onto their plate.
They could use a SCW style of cooperative but not under your command style of troops (probably for the naval units.) It could require using command points to seize a greater amount of control/respect from them and thus better tactics or cooperation.
yeah that way CP points can be use more then get prototype unit, enemy units, or allies units

And another Teatime

Still no news. :( I will not buy any Slitherine game till AO43 is released. And Pacific Corp DLC not before the release of AO45.

Most played Slitherine game and no news.

It would be really great to finally have some news on the DLCs. I hope, at least until Easter we will get something.

The United States Armed Forces were the same way and still are.

The lack of real information is getting a bit much now. Even a "hey gang, its going to be another 2monnths ish " would be good at this point.

It has been a long time.

It has indeed been a long time since we got new info. However, I am confident that AO 43 will be out sometime before the release of Panzer Corps 3.

When you consider that AO41 was released in December of 2020, we have actually only gotten one DLCS ('42) in the past 15 months!

Hehe, the longer the wait the better the se....game ;)

i hope i translated the phrased correct into english.

Im pretty sure everyone wants both DLCS fast out. Slith as publisher, the devs and most of us customers. They would release it faster if this would be possible, i mean they earn their money with the game we love.
All we can do is wait. A little update from Pat, Edmon or Kerensky or a small teaser or a screenshot from 43/pacific would be really appreciated. The latest information i read somewhere on the forums was, that Kerensky is working hard on the last AO43 missions. So i would assume beta starts soon (TM).

The last information was a weird Tea Time when they announced that they work on 4 DLC at the same time. This was corrected by Edmond, I guess that they still only work on 43 and Pacific, and we should get information as soon as possible. Since that moment, 2 weeks have passed.

Maybe after finishing the space game, some programmers have now time for Pacific of AO 43.

Today is Tea Time again. Wonder if they have anything to say about Panzer Corps 2. "As soon as possible"

The dev team is based in Russia right? So that could be one reason we've had no new info for the past month.

But to the people who are getting impatient, please go to the Scenario Design forum and try the PzC1 Grand Campaign(1939-1945) and Storm Over Europe campaign mods, if you havent already.
They're really excellent, and the team is actively creating more content for both. If it weren't for their mods, I probably would have abandoned this game some time last year

Starni Games is based in Ukraine, but the Slitherine team is in UK I believe.

I hope everything is going ok for the Pacific team, I thought that DLC was supposed to come first.

It was, but Kerensky has had 9 month to work on AO43.
He is ready.
The PcC2 release is not.
So the publisher has rescheduled. This give an extra ~6 months for PcC2 development.
There comes a time on every project when it is time to shoot the engineer and ship the damn thing.

I would guess they ran into some unexpected issues since they are probably trying to implement new mechanics. I assume they want amphibious assaults to really feel like they are difficult and not just make it to land and roflstomp your opponent into the ground.

Makes sense, was hoping it would come first do to it being a new way to play PZC2. Very different than regular
