Ya, take it from me. The first few turns of Barbarossa are absolutely punishing and YOU ARE going to lose a few units and cities. Keep that in mind and when retreat is impossible bleed the Axis as much as you can. But you actually have to lose very very little, and it's more than possible that you can completely insulate all of your major industrial centers from enemy attack. At which point you've PROBABLY won the game as long as you don't botch things up too badly; it's just a matter of grinding, upgrading, and generally managing what you already have as the prestige flows in.
Don't give up and keep fighting.

Hello everyone I want to thank Akkula for this beautiful mod. But I have one problem, maybe someone will advise. I play on the difficulty of the General, but the Axis moved in general quite slowly, only by 6 turn they approached the line (Minsk-Kiev-Odessa). And thanks to the active defense, the enemy is almost completely defeated by turn 20 and you can just attack( a couple of moves will still have to defend near Kiev and south of it). I am playing for the second time(before that I took Berlin at the end of 1942 and actively advanced on the other fronts).
The problem is that the AI is too crowded and quickly loses troops, and the recruits are too effective on a wide front. At the same time, we manage to deliver fresh t-34s. 85-mm anti-aircraft guns do not leave any chance for enemy aircraft.
As a result, I do not know how to make the game more interesting( I do not think that the Field Marshal will help(although I will try later). It would be nice to have a couple of scenarios (saves) of a later period of the war. Otherwise, there is only the idea of just doing nothing at all for the first couple of moves, perhaps this will help the AI(If realistically retreating should be much more difficult) I also noticed a couple of units that appeared behind my defense.

Odessa held on until the 11th move, but then an 88-mm AA appeared behind my positions and I managed to lead everyone away (except for the NKVD detachment)

You rush at the enemy and it seems to be working for you. As for me, I am more careful (maybe too much!). I organized a strategic withdrawal from the start (the Germans are crushing my troops like a steamroller). I care about the big cities at all costs: Murmansk, Leningrad, Moscow, Stalingrad and Grozny.
Within a few turns, the enemy was exhausted in these key positions and the moment for a general counterattack had finally arrived.
The situation is reversed, the Soviet troops jostle the invader
I manage to win but really within the "time" limits of the scenario. The hardest part with my method was to keep Leningrad intact. For the other cities, a good distribution of reinforcements is necessary.

I'm a very careless player) I don't like companies because I'm in a hurry and I lose units, but in this scenario it works for me. The first time I tried to defend along the Stalin line and the rivers, but it turned out to be a difficult idea(the front is too long, and the enemy is far superior in quality). .
Of course the early aggresive strategy is not intended during the scenario design, but thats not excuse for me, I will work on the fix someday.
Anderkav, maybe you need to increase the difficulty?, maybe you are too good for the average difficulty of the mod

Plus, if you have enough prestige, then by about turn 20, Finland's offensive units run out. This is not a bad thing, because if you are pressed by Germany at this time, then you are unlikely to spend much on Finland.

In the same style as the units arriving behind the Front, I would like to point out that the fortresses of Königsberg, Posen and Breslau appear on turn 66. We gain 1500 prestige points for the destruction but… I have already taken the city of Königsberg on turn 60!
Perhaps the date of construction of this fortress should be brought forward?

For what I see, I need to redesign many spawn conditions for situations in which the player made early progress on Germany..... (I think the fortresses shouldn't even appear early, they shouldnt appear at all if the player is advancing so early).
I will see if I have some free time from Modern Conflicts to fix these glitches.
