Re: Order of Battle - Join the Winter Tournament
If your opponent doesn't turn up, you will get a walkover and 150 points. Unfortunately in my last tournament I didn't play a single game because none of my three opponents played, but that was very unlucky and thankfully I actually have a fight on my hands this time.

Do we have a mechanism for contacting our opponents? I started the one game but there has been no activity from my opponent yet after a couple of days.
Re: Order of Battle - Join the Winter Tournament
You can always PM your opponent.

Re: Order of Battle - Join the Winter Tournament
I'm in the same boat. Looks like you opponent is a no-show so far, just like mine.
Annoyingly my opponent has failed to complete all his previous tournaments and yet still signs up. It does not bode well for my ability to take turns.
L:ike you I have deployed in one game but await them to deploy in the other.
Give a bye gets 150 points I'd expect the same at minimum as I have at least deployed. According to the rules they have some calculation of time taken over turns played if you time out, I just hope it caters for the case of you not even getting a chance to deploy.
In the dropped round of this tournament me and my opponent had completed 12 turns before they canned it so this situation is vexing.
Re: Order of Battle - Join the Winter Tournament
In this situation, if they don't turn up (and just not ever turning is indeed plain rude), then you'd get the full bye of 150

Thanks for the input everyone. Let's hope that all our opponents decide to show up soon. I'd much rather play a game than have a 150 point bye.
Re: Order of Battle - Join the Winter Tournament
my opponent hasn't moved in 4 days , isn't there some kind of time limit? i know its my first tournament im pretty sure im doing everything correct.
Re: Order of Battle - Join the Winter Tournament
Hi

My opponent hasn't move as well. If he isn't interesting about the Tournament, why did he joined?

Where can we watch the replay?

Re: Order of Battle - Join the Winter Tournament
wHAT do we do when opponent doesnt show up?
Re: Order of Battle - Join the Winter Tournament
This they really need to start blocking people who sign up but never show or baring them its not fair the rest fo us have to sit there waiting for the timer to count down and don't get to play cause some toxic player decided to sign up and not showstevefprice wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 9:56 am

Re: Order of Battle - Join the Winter Tournament
its been well over 7 days can you guys kick my opponent off please??
Re: Order of Battle - Join the Winter Tournament
The next round starts on the 31st. Anyone who's not made any moves will be removed from the tournament before the second round starts.
Re: Order of Battle - Join the Winter Tournament
It would be good to have a separate tournament for those players that have successfully completed previous tournaments ( i.e - shown up to play without forfeiting) With a separate qualifying tournament for newcomers.
I am mired at round 11 for three days now and doubt my opponent is coming back. At least I scraped through to 153 points I guess.
