Hello guys
At each DLC, it's always the same: there are inconsistencies between the English and French texts. For example, in language 7 French, Advanced aeronautics is never translated, the same for landing barge tank.
In the campaigns, in certain scenarios, there is an inconsistency between the numbers: for example, 10 tanks to be destroyed in the English text, 12 in the French text.
I therefore take the English texts as a reference since the game is basically in English but this forces me to check everything. It's a long and tedious job.
Moreover, but this is not a reproach, Erik's campaigns are all in English. Maybe I should have worked more English at school *laughs* instead of looking at the girls!
Greetings from France
Bruno

Re: French translation
English used in video games should be simple to understand avoiding certain specific expressions or phrases that are too long, which is usually the case in this game.

Re: French translation
I have already tried, it's not that easy to translate from English. The problem with translations is that it is not always possible to translate word by word because of the layout. Then you have to find other shorter expressions that almost mean the same thing.

Totally agree with you. The most striking example is the text of victory, draw and defeat. But what bothers me the most is that some objectives don't have the same values: the number of units to destroy, the number of prestige points gained (blitzkrieg campaign scenarios). There are also texts missing for the event triggers (Moscow scenario). And also some units. I noticed this at each CSD but now it makes 15 campaigns to check !!! In the language 7 english file, 2 specialisations are not translated (landing craft tank and advanced aeronautics).
It's easier to translate Erik's campaigns since there's only English text.
Salutations mon ami.
