Probably it would be logical to place border guards of Ukraine and MT-12 on the border: the last anti-tank gun in modern wars ;)

glaude1955 wrote: Fri Aug 07, 2020 8:46 am Hello Akkula,

At the start of your mod, I had fleshed out the French army a bit. Here are my additions.
I had also modified your NATO scenarios to allow me to constitute a French Corps from the start in support of the Americans.
I also (wrongly?) Modified the characteristics of our national tank the Leclerc. In your mod, it is worth nothing compared to American and Russian monsters!
Wow!
Nice work there :o
I think those are really needed in the French roster, so far they don't have any AA system. Good idea Bruno.
I will see if I can add some more details, but the icons are great. 8) Thanks a lot.
About the Leclerc, I will check its stats, don't worry. The mod has been evolving over the years so the stats need to be updated from time to time....but I will keep the Leclerc cost, after all its the most expensive tank ever built

Thanks again for the ideas and feedback.

Best regards,
Akkula.

Hello Akkula,
Good news for the French contingent!
If you have any ideas on your future additions, don't hesitate to tell me about it, I could get back to work.
You are free to use my icons as they are, or by modifying them.
I made them for my pleasure and if it can also be the pleasure of the PzCorps community it is even better.
Best regards

Hello Akkula.
Nono hard... = Bruno / Glaude... = Yves.
I had to set the truth straight. To complete Yves, here are the four French self-supporting flak systems. Maybe the commissioning dates are inaccurate. AMX 13 flak = 1965 / AMX 30 Roland = 1978 / Crotale = 1982 / Carol = 1994

Hello Akkula.
It seems to me that you've forgotten an essential component of the French army: the Foreign Legion.
Have a nice day.

Thanks for the names clarifications, it won't happen again :P
I will focus on the most modern French equipment, but for sure I could make those units to have them as a "reserve" in storage.
Thanks a lot.

Thanks Akkula,

Here is the end of my collection, they do not have new materials but they have served well.

Who knows if one day after your Soviet storm you decide to create the Desert storm.
Operation Daguet is the participation of the French army in the international coalition formed following Iraq's invasion of Kuwait in the Gulf War in 1990-1991.

Heya, Glaude and Nono.

Can you guys clarify one thing to me please? Is AMX-56 = Leclerc or not?

English wiki says: "The designation AMX-56 – while very popular – is incorrect", while French wiki (as much as I suck with French) doesn't mention AMX-56 at all.

Thanks in advance ^.^

Bonjour Estherr,

AMX 56 « Leclerc » (France)

Coût : 10 millions de Dollars US

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... e=emb_logo

Cordialement

Yves

Hello Estherr,

AMX 56 “Leclerc” (France)

Cost: 10 million US Dollars

The AMX-56 “Leclerc” tank is a tank developed by the French manufacturer GIAT Industries, which replaces the old AMX-30s. The Leclerc, which takes its name from Marshal Leclerc, famous commander of the 2nd Armored Division during the Second World War, is in service in the French army and that of the United Arab Emirates. The Leclerc tank is said to be the “world's first fourth generation tank”, the price of which leaves the German M1A2, Leopard 2A5 / A6 and the British Challenger 2 far behind.

The Leclerc tank, in addition to the exceptional qualities specific to other elite tanks like the M1, Leopard 2 and others, is the one with the most applications of advanced technologies in the world.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UqtcRWp2Wc

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... e=emb_logo

However, it seems that the name AMX 56 never existed. But for the layman, it is the successor to the AMX-30, hence the confusion

But for the game, it's the same tank.

Best regards

Yves

Maybe a French professional could tell us more. He would be better able to discuss it than I am.

And yeah, I know wiki is NOT the most reliable source of detailed information (and that's a huge understatement  ), but have to start somewhere =)

I can perfectly imagine a grand scenario based on the Gulf War ; most vehicles used in this war is already in this mod. I hope that Akkula will consider doing it one day or another.

By the way, a little message for Akkula : I'm new on this forum and I've began to try Panzer corps mods a few days ago with your Modern Conflict and McGuba's BGE. I'd like to say that your work are very well done, both of them seem to be make by a team of professional. Thanks to you, my first contact with PC's mods is excellent, and I want to finish them as soon as possible to discover the work of other modders. Great work, I hope that you will continue to expand Modern Conflict.
