moonwalker wrote: Tue Aug 04, 2020 12:10 pm Hello,

this is really a fantastic work, it's just a pity that it doesn't work in the single player.
I've been playing PG and Panzer Corps for many, many years,
but a campaign with 220 turns and this huge map would be a real challenge.

Is it possible to split it into two war theaters and play it with the huge Soviet-Union card?
I have never seen an Eastern campaign with such depth of Russian space.
What a game, I dream of the single player.
Many greetings

Sorry for my bad English
About this scenario:
multi - NO
hot seat - YES
single - YES*

*it takes time 2 hours

Thank you moonwalker for your words :)
We can do everything with this scenario.
We can cut to Asia only, we can cut to only both Americas but... file is large 27Mb and I am not sure that even cut map will be able to play.
BTW this map shows us one thing, Soviet Union was huge. At map 1941 we were able to reach Ural mountains and game over. This scenario shows us that 50% T-34 were made behind Ural as it was in real life.

I needed 65 minutes.
--> but even if it is possible, is the scenario made for the solo? will it be playable with this new map like ancien 1941 map? Are turkey ,north africa, south america still always forbidden to invade ?

before going to bed, just 1 turn = 1 hour each day...
Right now, this version is playable for solo but, as I mentioned, you need time. About 2 hours for computer move. (copy link once gain). Do not forget about the equipment file.
About Turkey and South America. All countries there at SA are neutral. I can create a world with only both Americas but unfortunately, PC uses only 1Gb memory and max multiplayer file is 10Mb. What can I say....
I focused on European and Asia theatre. That is the reason why you can play every single big ship which was during WW2 (except 3 or 4 which were commissioned in the end of June\July 1945 and small old light cruisers from 1910-1920).

I began to play it ( one turn , each day) , you are right to say that it take more than 65 min to play all units ! The first turn took me more nearly 2 hours!

For thoses who search a world map war but with less units, it exist : " War of the World II" of BiteNibbleChomp : and player can invade any country :

Right now I am working on version 1.01

- bug fixing
- remove some wrong units like PAK 7,5 40
- better Luftwaffe balance Ju87 vs two-engine bombers
- add Chinese troops
- add Japan AA\AT gun
- a new cost and info model of T-34 series tank (cost of T-34\40 was bigger than T-34\43)
- add PAK 0,45 version

Today or tomorrow I will add two files 1.01, one for pure PC, second for PAK 0.45. The same map but at PAK version all ships are changed to PAK mode. In example at normal PC German heavy cruiser has only name Admiral Hipper but at PAK version except name there is also a proper unit view.

thxs for the update !

"Do you like this map?"

--> yes indeed ! I spend 2h by day to make my little war and it will going to last 3 months ! nice map !

The only problem i have is that i can't attack spain, turkey or north africa and Malta island is too small for my paratroppers ... but it remains cool to play. With Pak mod, it is excellent, 90 core units left is great to make all i want. ( i need storch recons and submarines! )

Today I will spend time for bugs fixing but you can see difference between PAK PC and pure PC. Of course I needed to change equipment file for PAK mode. I still wondering why at PC cost of T-34\43 is bigger then T-34\40 while it was not true.
T-34\40 = 270,000 rubles
T-34\43 = 135,000 rubles
The same was with Bf 109E=4 vs Bf 109F2

My guess would be game play reasons, i.e. higher price for later equipment

It is funny but I think as you. Designers probably were thinking in the same way. Better & new = more expensive but it was not true during WW2. It was quite the opposite, mass production.

Panzer IV H and J is a good real life example where the later model was same (maybe a bit worse) but cheaper. Cheaper late models would be useful if using soft cap or when prestige is short.

Is it possible to connect it via the JSGME program and what should I do if the mod version is already 0.46 ? )
