World at War 1941-1945

Hello Panzer Corps players.

After 24 days I have new Hot seat scenario called "World at War 1941-1945". 220 rounds scenario. (IT IS NOT MP scenario)
Maybe someone of you knows scenario called 1941, 1941 balanced or even my modification 1941 balanced v3,4,5. This map is completely new and big. How big? 849 x 415 hexes. It works as hotseat but was never used as multiplayer scenario. Map was made with google maps (terrain, forest, rivers ect.). On East Front all units, position and names are from Barbarossa order the battle --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_ ... Barbarossa In example 10th Panzer Division Wehrmacht is in Army Group Center (the division participated in the Battle of Białystok–Minsk) and Soviet 7th Tank Division is placed between Vilnus and Minsk as part of Pavlov's Western Front.
I hope that Slovakia, Polish or Romania players forgive me but some present city names are changed to names from 1941.
I tried to add every nation ww2 hero, famous general, pilot, tank ace or even spy.
One hex is 25-33 km so I had to change equipment rules. Right now artillery range is max 2 hexes, cruisers the same. Only battleships and forts have 3 hex range. It is hard to imagine 150mm shoted up to 100km
I have used 18 units models from great MOD PAX, the same was with gorgeous flags. I have also change air attack of all planes used a simple calculation gun in mm \ points:

New values are similar to old one but I think better reflect the reality of the Second World War.
All big ships like carriers, battleships, heavy and light cruisers are near to 22nd June 1941 position. All-new ships are also on +- 2 hexes proper positions. Example HMS Jamaica. She was Commission: 29 June 1942 Vickers-Armstrongs, Barrow-in-Furness shipyard so near that point Ally player will receive HMS Jamaica. Old ships like german SMS Schlesien has only 4 points but Yamato 15.
User is able to use mines, RADARs, torpedo planes and recon planes like Catalina.
All big events were add like 7th December 1941, Torch, Huskey, D-Day. It is like WW2 cheat sheet. Some times even small WW2 episodes are here and one place like Easter Egg (this tasty history is also related to WW2 time )
Big tanks like IS-1\2\3 or Tigers or 8,8 gun and similar has range 2 (like at Panzer General2).

If you want to play this scenario:
1) copy your original game
2) unzip Units folder
3) copy units pictures from unziped Units file to --> Panzer Corps\Graphics\Units
4) copy file equipment to --> Panzer Corps\Data
5) copy file nations to --> Panzer Corps\Data
6) copy efx file to --> Panzer Corps\Graphics
7) copy file flags to --> Panzer Corps\Graphics\Overlays

PAK equipment file was modified so I recommend making a copy. Important changes at PAK file:
- all big tanks like Tiger, Maus, IS-2\3 ect have 2hex range (the same AT like 8,8 or British 17'
- big ships have only 2 hex fire range
- huge cannons >500mm have 3hex range
- cost of T-34\43 is smaller than T-34\40 (it was true) --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-34#Overview
- Bf109 planes have lower fuel (35 not 50)
- The Chinese army has poor infantry
- The Turkey army has new units (Axis)
- Swiss army has new units (Allies)

I wanted to do this, put all files in one place as one file but it is impossible. At this forum, I am not able to put file bigger than 1Mb. My all files weight is 1,34Mb. After unzip it will be ~ 28,5Mb

To play : run new game/scenario/custom/world war 41 and play only in HOTSEAT with a friend. In solo, it is not working.

When I started with this scenario I was thinking only about hot seat\multiplayer option, never single player. It is too big.

2) Japan A6M2, A6M5, Nakajima B5N, Yamato class
3) US Buffalo, Wildcat, Hellcat, Corsair, something looks like Catalina
4) FIN Buffalo fighter

Probably yes But, it is not a game like fast click, fast play. Those who love this game, I hope, will like this map\scenario.

if IA need 5-6h to play one turn turn , it is possible to let the PC running all night and it should be ok at the morning.

edit: is it normal that there are two fighters named : "steinhoff johannes" ? (located just north of Bucharest ).

Hello,

this is really a fantastic work, it's just a pity that it doesn't work in the single player.
I've been playing PG and Panzer Corps for many, many years,
but a campaign with 220 turns and this huge map would be a real challenge.

Is it possible to split it into two war theaters and play it with the huge Soviet-Union card?
I have never seen an Eastern campaign with such depth of Russian space.
What a game, I dream of the single player.

--> but even if it is possible, is the scenario made for the solo? will it be playable with this new map like ancien 1941 map? Are turkey ,north africa, south america still always forbidden to invade ?

before going to bed, just 1 turn = 1 hour each day...
