900 points, 2 games, see http://www.maws.org.uk for details. Follow the links to Northern DBM league (although it looks like there may well be no DBM this year)Katsu wrote:Will this be a 1000 point event?

Nah, that will not go to bed for a while and as the Northern league is doubles and 900 points it isn't really a far comparison.timmy1 wrote:James
Thanks. Lets hope that puts the LH / initiative is broken threads to bed for a while.
Ascot will be the interesting one, I expect 80 or so FoG entries all into one huge open period so Dominate swarm, shooty light horse and every thing else under the sun will be able to fight it out.
I am willing to bet that Graham Evans, Bruce Brown, Dave Handley and Simon Hall will all finish in the top 10%.
If you are expecting around 80 entries it is quite a bold statement to say that the above four are going to be in the top 8.I am willing to bet that Graham Evans, Bruce Brown, Dave Handley and Simon Hall will all finish in the top 10%.
I for one am willing to bet they aren't all in the top 8. I don't think they will miss by much, but.....
I think that three of these four in the top 10% (assuming they all enter) is highly likely making it all four means that someone might take a bet.dave_r wrote:If you are expecting around 80 entries it is quite a bold statement to say that the above four are going to be in the top 8.I am willing to bet that Graham Evans, Bruce Brown, Dave Handley and Simon Hall will all finish in the top 10%.

All we need to do now is decide on the value of the bet.

That was an embarassingly quick turnaround even for you HammyI think that three of these four in the top 10% (assuming they all enter) is highly likely making it all four means that someone might take a bet.
