Massed archers' attack sound doesn't works?

Massed archers' attack sound doesn't works?
Today I'm checking the main game's data,then I found the folder called "sounds",I found the" ATTACK_MASSED_ARCHER" and "ATTACK_SKIRMISH_ARCHER"files in it,I tried in game then because I've never heard that massed archer's attack sound,then I found the massed archer units'(including the roman auxiliary archers) attack sounds are same as the skirmish archers in game.Is this a bug like the fromer bug of the ambient battle sounds?

No it is not a bug. The studio that made the sound effects did not realise that the sound effects are played for each model in the unit, rather than for the unit as a whole. Therefore massed bowmen play 8 copies of the sound effect, whereas light infantry play 4 and light horse only 2. Hence we decided only to use the one sound. Because the sound is played for each model that shoots, 480 bowmen (8 models) are twice as loud in the game as 240 bowmen (4 models).
