[HELP] Game Unplayable
Re: [HELP] Game Unplayable
i know how you feel and do feel for you, as a gamer at heart, even though now days i test more than i play, but support will sort it, as that's what they do best, i'm just the front end, there's 100's plus who tested it, and on more hardware that i would have thought was out there tbh, and all the O/S as well, so it must be something either i've missed or something else unknown in the setup that has so far stopped the 3 of you from playing it, and for that, i'm sorry to have failed you as well

Re: [HELP] Game Unplayable
Good news: I managed to hit escape before the thing could freeze again. Started a campaign, and am enjoying it quite a bit. Hopefully, a solution to the problem can be found before i complete the campaign.
Re: [HELP] Game Unplayable
very good news indeed, hopefully something will be able to be sorted out for you, even if it's just to disable the video etc so you can auto bypass etc, but a better fix would be nice also
Re: [HELP] Game Unplayable
still trying to get my version to work. I've uninstalled and installed 5 times now. I tried setting both game and Steam as "administrator" and tried to run that way. Still nothing. I put in a ticket. Email back asked me to verify the files. It was all good there. Does anyone have any suggestions? I try to launch the game. I get the spinning blue circle for loading and then nothing.

Re: [HELP] Game Unplayable
I would imagine more information than: "it won't launch" might be necessary. I'm thinking bare minimum, the output log, and DXdiag log would be required before anyone can even think about making a suggestion.

the more information the better, and so it doesn't get missed, please open it in another post, thanks.
all the information support needs is in the link above
Re: [HELP] Game Unplayable
So, when the very first update came out I downloaded it. Went to play the game and it would not load. Blue loading circle would spin a few seconds and then nothing. When trying to play through the Steam app, I would see "loading" and then "synching" and then nothing would happen. I believe I was on chapter 5 of the game originally. I've set everything to running as admin. I've emailed many times with the game developers and haven't heard back in some time. I made changes to windows defender and my other antivirus programs. I've made new folders to install the game in. I've done the latest downloads. Still will not load. I've attached the files for anyone to look at to see if you can figure out what is going on. Haven't been able to play the game since Sept.

Re: [HELP] Game Unplayable
more for developers than a reply tbh, so just notes of what i've found etc,...
Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 15063) (15063.rs2_release.170317-1834) Memory: 8192MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Dedicated Memory: 979 MB
Display Memory: 5060 MB
Dedicated Memory: 979 MB
Shared Memory: 4081 MB
Current Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Realtek High Definition Audio 6/16/2015 out of date so old needs updating Audials Sound Capturing Date and Size: 10/9/2012 Driver Provider: RapidSolution Software
the game needs a minimum of 4gb of base memory to run, your system has a total of 8gb of ram, which is fine, but your system is sharing 5gb of this to make the onboard vga quicker, tbh the card / chip while being above the base minimum for the game regarding speed is fine, but for memory eg base memory it's too low Dedicated Memory: 979 MB
so my advice is, go into the bios on boot up and if there is an option to alter the amount of base system memory to give less to the onboard card / chip vga controller etc, do this first, then you also need to update the drivers on both of your sound cards, and if there is no more upto date ones for the Audials Sound Capturing one, disable it, and see if the game works then, as Realtek High Definition Audio is DirectX compatible but the Audials Sound for DirectX 11 maybe not be, so if you can't update this eg find and install windows 64bit drivers which are more up to date and DirectX 11 sound compatible, you have have either to uninstall it or disable it.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 has Microsoft® DirectX® 11 Support so once the bios memory has been altered, if it can be in bios, some motherboards bios support this, some don't, without this, you may have to alter the game to run at the very lowest settings and have a clean profile on boot, so just steam and your AV is loaded to even have the barest of chance for the game to run,...
as atm with Display Memory: 5060 MB assigned, you don't have enough base system memory left over to run the game plus windows 10

this is my advice as why the game won't work, and what you need to sort it out, in my opinion, there maybe others ways, but as i'm not in front of your pc, this is my advice from your reportProduct Requirements :
OS: Window 7, 8, 8.1 or 10
Processor: 2.0GHz or higher
Memory: 4GB
Graphics: 1GB NVIDIA Geforce 460/ATI Radeon HD 5770 or better
DirectX: Version 11
Sound Card: DirectX compatible
Storage: 8739 MB available space
Network: Broadband Internet connection for multiplayer
