I did get the links from support. Now I will have to put in another request due to the fact that my (correct) key is not recognized by the Rising Sun install. On top of that, with a fresh install I still get an old error when I try to play the scenario following New Georgia in US Marines. This is very frustrating -- I played quite a bit of it the first go round. Then I got a strange error which I never got an explanation for -- successfully played through the whole Winter War before uninstalling, and ditto the other DLC's.

I'm sorry, but you need to contact support[at]slitherine.co.uk with your order details for Rising Sun, so that we can verify the serial number.

Which error? Do you have a save game that you can attach?

I fixed my problem. I bought a new computer. I saved the download files I got through Slitherine and reinstalled and am now happily progressing through the Marines campaign, with nary a crash. The game was too much for my aging computer, apparently.
