AEMIL (french 1643-1648) won vs Dortmund(spanish 1635-1648) 37 % vs 66% routed

Great battle!! And bloody one too. A hill that was ocupied by the spanish was attacked by French army from 3 sides. Thanks to the brave!! charge of the french cavalry from 2 sides
french army managed to rout spanish from part of the hill. After that a bloody battle ocured. Great battle, great game. I love this game.

Apologies to my opponents (and those with current games) the updater is not working for me and I cannot currently load games.

Yes, I had the same. Sadly the Slitherine elves have finished for the day, so it should be sorted out tomorrow morning.

If you have the Steam version, or a Steam key to get it, that version does appear to update correctly.

No steam for me I am afraid - so no more turns until fixed so sadly I can't get my fix tonight

The Group of Death turned out to be exactly that. A 2-0 drubbing by both RBS and Cavehobbit who were both on a different planet to me. This is great game, Luck seems to be minimal and flanking is king. Bring on the next round!!

Round 2 Result: rbodleyscott (Transylvanian 1618-1631) won vs ggarynorman (Imperial 1619-1632) (13% to 42%)

Large Transylvanian forest in the centre gave the Transylvanians somewhere to hide. From which they emerged to suck the blood of the Imperials - well maybe not.
