Re: RumpNissen's Flags and Roundels
Very nice work, RumpNissen! Thumbs up!

Re: RumpNissen's Flags and Roundels
To tell the truth, I'm kinda disappointed in BiteNibbleChomp's choice in flags. He chose not to use the actual Serbian- and Bolshevik flag, instead using Yugoslavia's and USSR's. I hoped that I would have more to work with.
So I added a few extra, just because I felt like it.
So if there's a demand, there's more to get:
I also heard he was interested in making a campaign for the Franco-Prussian War. So I might as well:

I think a target icon as a victory hex would be better than your golden flag pole. We almost can't tell that it's a victory hex with your flag pole. It's really hard to see the difference between the usual flag pole and your victory hex flag pole. Sorry !
Re: RumpNissen's Flags and Roundels
v1.1 is very good. Thanks for including the historical flags, and having them in 'mod' format is a bonus as well. Great work, thank you!RumpNissen wrote:Done n Done

Re: RumpNissen's Flags and Roundels
In fact, I think that a golden target to replace the actual golden rectangle which is at the bottom left as a victory hex would be perfect.

Re: RumpNissen's Flags and Roundels
I've successfully replicated the Vanilla-style in spheric flags. I feel that they do look much better than my earlier versions:
I plan on replacing my old spheric flags with them. Should I?
On a side note:
I've been trying to mod my game to add new nations, but the scenario editor can't register the changes I've made in the "nations.pzdat"-file. Although it responds well to an extended flag overlay. What am I missing?

Yes, of course!RumpNissen wrote: I plan on replacing my old spheric flags with them. Should I?

I´ve open your natios.pzdat file with Excel an I saw, that you´ve write the number behind each nation in a wrong column! Open for yourself the file in excel and you´ll see the mistake!RumpNissen wrote: I've been trying to mod my game to add new nations, but the scenario editor can't register the changes I've made in the "nations.pzdat"-file. Re: RumpNissen's Flags and Roundels
Hello RumpNissen!
Seeing that you are a flag specialist, and that your work is awesome, I would like you to consider doing this work, when you like and have available time...
I found an image of the "Deutsche Zeppelin-Reederei GmbH" flag (which was the company that made the Zeppelin flghts, I think). This would be the base for a nice insignia, and may be it could be used with one of the Zeppelin icons, to show a special unit.
The problem is the swastika... Could you make a flag out of this image, but replacing the swastika with an iron cross, in the same style?
If you could,it would be fantastic! Thanks!

Re: RumpNissen's Flags and Roundels
I'll see what I can do

Re: RumpNissen's Flags and Roundels
Two alternatives:
I was hoping to abstractify the emblem even further, so far this is the best I could come up with. I might develop it further, if need be.-

No, no, man, I don't think we need to do anything more on them! They are JUST PERFECT!
Awesome work, and nearly instantaneous response time! You are very kind! Thanks again!

Honoured to receive praise from you good sir (why isn't there a salute emote?)

Hi RumpNissen!RumpNissen wrote: However, considering their smaller size it'd be really hard to spot the victory hexes with just glow. Since they're also in the lower left corner, AugustinMalar's suggestion won't work that well (unless maybe I put the markings on the opposite corner). So I added a golden star on top of the pole as a new suggestion: Download Link

The new flags and victory hex is named "... - Smaller". just rename them "flags" and "victoryhex". I kept the original ones, in case someone else wishes to still use them.
Can you please release a version from the smaller glowing wavy flags for the vanilla game (and DLC´s) too? And when yes, please a version with swastika and without them!
Many thx in forward!

Hi RumpNissen! I feel very glad you like my humble, pixel copying-pasting work! I hope you can find some use to those icons if you sometime decide to try Pz Corps playing & modding! I feel honoured also that a talented graphical artist likes my work! Besides, I wil also be glad if sometime in future I can help you with anything.RumpNissen wrote:Honoured to receive praise from you good sir (why isn't there a salute emote?)

Thanks again for your nice flags and encouraging words! Best wishes!

As per Magic1111's request, here are the WWII flags for Panzer Corps vanilla in smaller size like I did for Battlefield Europe:

Forgive me another request, but can you do a to your MOD compatible version from the glowing "victoryhex.png", as you see in THIS screens?

Thx in forward!
Re: RumpNissen's Flags and Roundels
Sorry, but you're gonna have to ask him yourself. I've tried to replicate his victory hex, with little to no success. Either wait for his next release or just ask him.
