On checking the Border Reivers army that Nigel borrowed I found 2 bases of musketeers (3 figures to the base).

They are not Nigel's so if anyone lost them let me know.

Bob,
Given that I played Nigel last, they could well be mine. I'll check tomorrow.

If you can get them to Nigel, we're both playing at Farnborough Shot on the 6th or Warfare in November.

Thanks - Marc

Marc,

If they are yours I can give them to either Tom or Ben who are also playing at Farnborough.

Why are you not doing the BHGS Doubles at the end of October in Oxford?

I've checked - they are mine (missing 2 bases of early Arquebusiers/Handgunners). They obviously decided being a border reiver was more exciting than being back in my tin.
If you can pass them to anyone coming to Farnborough I'd be grateful.

I can't make the doubles - I'm off on holiday that weekend ... (I've also managed to clash Farnborough Shot with the DBMM / FOG A-M doubles - However I chose my date before they did :-) )

Marc,

Ben has your escaped 2 bases of early Arquebusiers/Handgunners and will repatriate them to you at Farnborough.

Ho hum, a friend has his wedding up in York the day before the last SL round so I won't make it after all. Looks like my return to gaming will have to be on hold until 2014

It will be good to see you back Nik. You could always enter for Warfare?

Alas that clashes with something else I already have arranged - pity as the period suits the small FoG:R figure collection I have.

Ditto Hammy's Stockport event so its next year for me I think. Which ones will rather depend on theme as I'm not inclined to play themes that are (IMO) too wide.

Nik,

The Southern League rounds are narrowly themed. Armies can always be borrowed.

Have you looked at the posts re Godendag and Campaign yet?

Its why I've rather been looking at the SL :D

Godendag is an imaginative theme, but hardly narrow at 150 years with no geographical constraints. Campaign is too far away for me to be considering as yet. Have the periods been decided for FoG:R? The ancient ones used to be suitably restrictive so if the R ones are as well I could be tempted.
