Cost of War :(
In my first pbem game (and really only about my 4th time starting the beast as the Central powers)(haven't played as Entente yet at all), we are up to about the 6th or 7th turn and already Austria's production is down to about 8 points a turn. I've about 7 infantry units and several garrisons. It seems that this is too much?? From those who have played, what is the limit of the various armies? How many infantry units can Austria maintain? I guess I am use to CEaW, where I can purchase as long as I have production. But here, each unit produced, is dropping my production. I can't even replace casualties, let alone establish any sort of front in Russia.

So it is spring 1915, and as the CP I have:
Turks: 5 Gar., 5 Inf., 1 Cv. and a whopping 1 production point a turn.
AH: 9 Gar., 9 Inf., 1 Art. and something like 20 production a turn.
Ger.: 15 Gar., 11 Inf., 1 Cv., 2 Art. and somewhere just above 20 production a turn.
How does this compare to others?
A question:
1. Upgrading costs pp, but if I wait until a second upgrade comes in (say yet again the next infantry upgrade), do I pay the same amount of pp (one cost for an upgrade regardless of how many improvements are being given)(a-la CEaW), or will I pay double the pp cost?

some upgrades cost more than others, waiting will not cost you more in total, but it will cost you more per upgraded unit because you cannot skip an upgrade. You can choose to not give a unit upgrade2 but when upgrade 3 comes along and you want to give that unit upgrade3 you will also have to give him upgrade2 and thus you will have to pay for both at the same time. The cost will not be more however than if you had done upgrade2 first and 3 later.
