Blitzkrieg France problem and questions????

Once you uninstall, try starting regedit, going to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Slitherine and delete the BBCBA folder in there.

After uninstall I find This folder is empty.

OK - well it sounds like it uninstalled correctly. If you reinstall, you should find the BA.EXE file in your install folder. If this doesn't happen then something on your system is preventing it from being installed, and without the game executable, it's obviously tough to play the game...

You could try disabling your virus checker suite (which one are you using btw?) while installing the game to see if that helps.

I have norton Antivirus 2011 installed....If this is the problem how do i correct it?

I uninstalled my Nortons and it still is giving me the same problem...does anyone else have a solution????

Have you tried installing to a different folder to see if that makes any difference. It really is very bizarre. If the installer was failing to write the file it would tell you, so something must be removing it after it gets copied to the disk.

What happens if you try and apply the 1.6.1 patch on top - that would write a new EXE into the folder.

During all of this, are you installing Battle Academy first, and then the expansions, then the patch?

Game seems to be working ok....I still cannot play any of the Blitzkreig france campaign though...

What message do you get when you attempt to play a mission?

If you press the Register Expansions button on the launcher, does it show BF as being registered?

The register button is greyed out. When I click on the unlock expansions button the next window asks for the serial number for Blitzkreig france expansion pack.. I do not have the serial number.

That would explain why you can't play it for sure . The serial would have been needed to install the BF expansion in the first place. Is it listed on your My Page entry - if not then let us know and we can look it up I would imagine and resend it.

We'd have to look it up in yoru order. If you can send your details to info@slitherine.co.uk they will look it up. Or if you regsitered to the website go to MyPage from the homepage->login tab and look it up there.
