I bought the original game and played BF a lot. Now with the 1.6 upgade and M.G. installation I cant play any of the France scenarios. It keeps prompting me to buy the Blitz France add on!!! WTF????
Im not buying what I should already have!!!
Whats up? and how do I get my BF scenarios back????

This is all a fresh install...I sent my PC out for repairs and had to reinstall the original game and the M. G. game.
Also the game scrolls extremely slow now. and game play is very slow now.

What are your system specs? The game is in fact faster now thanks to some optimisations done for the iPad. Can you check whether your video card is buffering too many frames when displaying (some driver cheat to get better benchmark scores) - the game may no longer be forcing them to stop and update a texture. You will want to look for something like 'number of frames to buffer' or 'ignore vertical sync'.
It may be I need to make the PC version force the video card to do unnecessary work to deal with these misbehaving drivers.
Cheers

The sticky at the top of the tech support forums tells you how to do a detailed report, but it is most probably because of misbehaving drivers. If you have a video card specific control panel, you should check for the terms I mentioned and try and turn them off.
I will add a tweak to my task list to try and prevent this issue for the next update.

Sometimes they show up in the system tray (bottom left), otherwise if you right click on the desktop, choose properties, and then the Advanced button, there is a tab at the top labelled with your video card name.
I have added some tweaks to try and solve this kind of problem in the next update, but it is obviously tough to try and work around these naughty driver issues without the machine in front of us
.
Cheers

The shortcut is pointing to the right file. I did a search for BA.EXE and the PC came back with no result.

It sounds like something went very wrong with the install then. If the shortcut is pointing to a file which isn't there, then it should just tell you it is trying to find it with a little searchlight torch thing?
If you try and uninstall, does the game folder vanish as you would expect? Given you are running XP I doubt there are any permissions issues going on. Could your virus checked have prevented the EXE being saved to the install folder?
Once you uninstall, try starting regedit, going to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Slitherine and delete the BBCBA folder in there. It should already be deleted by the uninstall, but something is obviously very confused.
Cheers
