You could always do the same with the ELO rankings.

Those are the seedings based on rankings - I don't have Frederic's ranking as he doesn't have a UK one- hence all the French players are simply at the bottom. I did point this out saying "The French players are a complete unknown obviously".
However, I did happen to notice that Frederic lies second in the French ELO rankings, so should be a bit handy.
Ah well it looks like a hot day in hell ( or is that two days) for my Norse Irish with a poor army choice and a lowly ranked player like myself to boot.

Look, they may be pointless to you, but any stat that shows Hammy ranked below Dino, Ian Mackay, Harrison and David Fairhurst has got to be worth quite a lot.
I have only actually got the full bonafide rankings at work, so that will have to wait. But I would take an educated guess at pool 1. Darrell Pearce I think is ranked nineteen (although still behind Harrison obviously), and is eighth in the period, so that is a fairly strong standard, with eight of the eighteen in the top twenty.
Two of the bigger hitters are missing in Ian Stewart and Dave Handley of course.
There are also those who have a _false_ ranking in that they haven't attended the requisite number of tournaments. Usually Hammy would claim he is one of these, but there have been grumblings of unrest coming from Liverpool of late...... In fact, Hammy only thinks he will score 80 points this weekend. Which is a significant downturn over the last two years.

Says the man who finished 2nd at Britcon with it in 2009. You're fooling nobody jocko
I, on the other hand, am clearly over rated in that list as I haven't played since the Challenge, and that was FoG:R. It should be a close race between Hammy and myself for position of team bunny this year

If he does not, why humiliate him?" - Canon Sydney Smith
I have been contacted by George Dick expressing an interest in playing at the weekend. Unfortunately I can't accomodate him at this late stage, but if anyone is struggling or knows anyone who has a problem for the weekend please get in touch.
Cheers
Marc
BTW - my kids did the draw last night - some interesting matchups!
