It is now 1943 and the Allies are on the march.
While I can see that the Moroccans might just rebel against the French (thought probably not once the Allies are winning) they certainly wouldn't do it in the name of Spain! Also, even more oddly, the unit has a Spanish Republican flag.
I'm pretty sure this is a bug that should be fixed.
More broadly, it's bugged me for a while that the nationalities assigned to hexes in 'pre-conquered' territories are often not very appropriate. Hexes in Albania, for example, should be of Albanian nationality, not Italian. The Albanians certainly shouldn't rise up to support Italy if (unlikely, I know) they are overrun by the Allies before Italy surrenders! If anything, they should generate partisans for the Allied side. A similar logic applies to all the colonies of all countries in N Africa and (within 'Germany') to the former Czech territories. Arguably there is also a case for Arab revolts against the French and British in Syria, Egypt and Iraq - especially if the Germans are at the doors. That was something the Brits were seriously worried about in the real war. Harder to handle in the game, though, as those are treated as separate countries.
None of this has a major impact on the game, but I'm a big fan of historical realism
