Purchasing Foreign Units in Campaign
Is there anyone else out there that would really enjoy purchasing foreign units during the campaign? This was something that could be done in Panzer General 2 (and I think the first game as well) that was pretty neat. Although not especially useful, it was still fun to have a say, some Finnish Ski Troops, Spanish Infantry, an Italian Tank and some Romanian artillery. It did add a bit of flavor and was a fun challenge to try to keep this international coalition going throughout the game. From a gameplay perspective, there are some units that would be legitimately nice to have, like the Elite Italian infantry, and some Italian fighters are quite strong. I can't really think of any downsides to having the option at least! Anyone else agree?

I agree, I believe you could in limited siuations purchae "allies " into your core in the original PG, Bulgarians, for example when you were in the huge "Greek" scenariomonkspider wrote:Is there anyone else out there that would really enjoy purchasing foreign units during the campaign?
