Custom scenario 'Crete 1941' crashes
Hi
I have created a 1km/hex, battalion level scenario with a 303,111 size map.
When saving I get a message that there may be errors.
The 'Validate Scenario' give the usual custom string warnings, but nothing else.
The scenario crashes when playing against the AI both sides, but seems OK playing hot-seat.
Any tips on what may be wrong?

I dont known ! You use the same scale like my Crete scenario !
But the south of Grecce (Peloponnes) in the map - you need an outside airfield - than the planes fly and attack - I had the same problem with Overlord and now it runs perfectly with the included sothern british coast (from sealion)
Let me known - if you need the historical military map 1:100000 from Southern grecce.

My map contains the whole island of Crete and is based on various actual maps. My original scenario is company-based, I may change this from battalion to coy since there are relatively few units on a very large map.HBalck wrote:I am expanded the Crete map in many more details and to southern Peloponnes. The validation process should find this and point to the problem hex, I think.
All the messages about custom strings is really not that important and kind of obscures the important stuff.
Anyway, the error is gone, thanks again.
