We'll fix it, thanks!Pupec wrote:"Panzer IA" has an incorrect fire animation at shooting to the left side

I don't know if this was mentioned before, but during the initial deployment phase there's a bug when we're deploying a unit that was just bought and place it on the sea for transport.

There's a condition. You mustn't have deployed any unit on land before placing the freshly bought unit. It's only when you deploy all your units on the sea. You can play the whole scenario, and those units will not move. We can only mount and dismount them.
Let me use an example to illustrate how far this bug goes. You bought 3 units before you have beginning to deploy any other unit. Then you begin to deploy them. The last 3 units that you'll placed (it doesn't matter if they are the bought ones or not) will have the issue (and if, of course, you haven't deployed any unit on land before the last three).
I've a save if you want to check it more easily.

Hmmm. When I installed RC2, I uninstalled RC1 and erased all files, except the registry information.Kerensky wrote:This bug has come up before, and I'm pretty sure it was solved...
I'm having problem recreating your issue.
Does it happen every time for you and in every scenario, such as Norway?
When you installed RC2 did you install into a new directory, or did you overwrite a previously used directory?
But now I remember that I was using a save from RC1. I was in the last mission of the tutorial.
Probably it's that.

After the latest patch I decided to try using the "enter key to" start the next turn instead of the tiny "click here" on the weather/turn page.
It started the next turn, but it would not scroll, I could use the mouse key to grab and move the map around. It disabled all buttons on the UI, and wiped out all my influence which showed 0000. Only way to switch from air to ground was to double click on the hex, and I had to alt, control, delete to get out of the game, no way to end the turn as the UI keys and the hot keys had all been disabled.

some possible defects found in tutorial last scenario - RC2
Placed a tank I purchased on a sea hex. It was stuck there for the rest of the scenario in the form of a tank.
My units are surrendering when they are surrounded by my guys but attacked by the enemy. This doesn't make sense, why would they surrender? I had this happen twice in the same game. Please check the surrender code.
I'm also seeing an issue when I attack a unit with artillery, it becomes suppressed, but then I attack it with a tank and it becomes unsuppressed. Is that possible?

Ok, the new splash-screen seems to have a bug with the weather. For example, we are shown the weather window, but as soon as I click to go to deploy, the FORCAST changed to something else. I haven't even done anything, never mind deployed my units yet, and the forecast has changed already? I don't think this is working as intended.

Experience Ratio = (def exp level + 2)/(att exp level + 2)
Entrenchment Ratio = (def entr rate + 1) /(att entr rate + 1)
Not really a bug, but the AI is so foolish at mass-attacks. It will send four units, one after the other to attack the same unit individually, instead of taking advantage of this mechanic.

Experience Ratio = (def exp level + 2)/(att exp level + 2)
Entrenchment Ratio = (def entr rate + 1) /(att entr rate + 1)
Hmm, maybe not a bug here but just me still not understanding the algorithm right.
If 40% of my attack results are applied before my enemy can hit back, then that strength of 1 unit shouldn't have been able to score a kill on me, should it have?

When ever I start doing my turn (mp game) I get the following screen in which weather info seems to be on top of something, mind the white space at the left and right, may scenario info???, maybe it's ok, not sure:

UI improvments needed on this screen. It can wait til later, but not easy to read and kind of messy.
