There is plenty of cool stuff in the pipeline - we've been busy working on both 1.6 (with lots of new features) and also the Mac version (killing me though it is) for our Appley friends.

I'm amazed and delighted to learn that a Pacific expansion is a possibility. I hadn't imagined that to be likely at all. I know Junk2Drive (I think) put out a sort of Pacific test scenario and I liked it very much but IIRC he didn't seem optimistic about a further development.pipfromslitherine wrote: I know for a fact that we have a load of Pacific units built, as well as some Eastern front units. So it's a matter of settling on a design that we think ticks all the boxes.
We are always open to suggestions as to the areas and units people are most interested in!

I apologize for failing to give feedback on your Pacific scenarios. And I don't agree at all that you're not very good at scenario design! Question: I believe you said once that you didn't think BA could model Pacific warfare well because it's based heavily on armor and of course the Pacific didn't see much armored warfare. Do you still feel that way?junk2drive wrote:I made about three Pacific campaigns that you can download and play. I didn't get a lot of feedback on them.
I have made scenarios for a few different games and I am just not very good at it. I started a carryover campaign for the Japanese paratroops in the Dutch East Indies but the constant changes to the game caused me to stop and wait for things to settle down. Plus playtesting the battles gives me a "more of the same" feeling and I just can't seem to come up with a better way to challenge the player.
A good campaign to play Axis other than in Russia should be a Tunisian campaign, a lot of attack and counterattack actionspipfromslitherine wrote:One of the issues is that people want to play Axis...
Well, I for one want to play the Russians. And, apparently at least one other agrees:pipfromslitherine wrote:One of the issues is that people want to play Axis
I wonder if I'll become as callous with my troops lives as certain Russian generals and marshals... (To say nothing of a certain German chancellor, if I were playing the Axis.)onone wrote: then, perhaps, maybe, you might, go on, just for me, let me push a few T34's and SMG squads around a tractor factory?
