This turn our troops near Cherbourgh destroyed british armour and blocked the city.

Note allied bomber in partisan occupied lands near Paris. I guess it will fly futher to the MED theater, but if not my armour is here to attack this airfield.

In the MED allies continue to land. I will allow them to land in this southern italian tip, while all other landings should be blocked/counterattacked. I don't think that we should counterattack major beachhead - its hard and unworthy to kill all this allied troops. Keeping them at bay looks like better solution. If our line will start to crumble somehow, we will use our offencive power to restore it, but no need to push further.

Garrison of Messina was reduced to 3 steps and evacuated. Since Messina is now cut off major supply I were able to repair only to 6 steps, which will fall easily. Also this unit fought well. Why shall I just leave them behind? Italian manpower already close to 75% (I was surprised when noticed it this turn. Looks like this 3 corps fighting in Russia during 1941 and 1942 was enough for poor italian MP pool.)

Also both italian and german corps evacuated from Lybia to Greece, now only garrisons left there.

Near Rostov more soviet troops are gathering? Will it be a real fight? This time soviets will not have any stats advantage over german corps, even at winter. German HQ redeployed here and more corps will next turn, if needed.

Below are screens of german and italian research at the start of 1943

Allies did some minor breakthrough with their canadian corps towards Naples, forcing my italian corps to retreat to the mountains and reaching outskirts of the city. Now this corps is destroyed and the line is restored. Also our TACs sunk british sub, which attacked my transport, evacuated from Messina. Interesting fact - I have loaded 3 steps corps into the transport (transport had 10 steps so), sub reduced transport to 9 steps and I unloaded only 1 step corps out of it. Looks like minor bug or sort of.

In soviet union more troops are gathering around Rostov, but we have plenty of our own.

Image

In France we entrenched blocking Cherbourgh, which should be secured as soon as we have fair weather. Maybe next turn.

Image

This turn I purchased fresh german fighter and italian corps (which switched their MP into yellow).

In France we now wait for fair turn and some TAC bombers to destroy this corps in Cherbourgh. Also may need more fresh units, because this ones are constantly bombed. This partisan camp ashore also should be cleaned up.

Image

In Italy more troops arrive constantly. Actually allied beachhead is rather weak and can be destroyed. But is it needed? I think they will attempt another landing somewhere.

Image

In USSR soviets are passive. Only some air shows up (and get their flak damage).

Image

I almost done with uboat repairs, soon they will be able to raid seas again. I think I should go for some british convoys, if I spot them unescorted.

This turn weather in central Europe turned fair and this allies may try to land in Italy. Our armour and airpower ready to meet them.

Image

In France we also ready to start our attack on Cherbourgh next turn.

Image

In USSR more and more soviet infantry appears out of the FoW, but they don't attack us.

Image

Submarine repairs finished, now they will go for convoy ways, all 6 flotillas. German MP is very close to 50%, I guess one ground unit purchased will be enough to get -surv. So I am a bit unwilling to purchase anything for now.
