GS works perfectly with bootcamp (Windows Xp) on my MacBook.

I've been playing it with no problem using Parallels.

Works well with VMWare Fusion 3 too, there are many options for running Windows in an (Intel CPU) Mac

Any sense of the time-frame there? A year? Two years? Before the Cubs win the WS? I can wait if a mac version of GS 2.0 isn't going to be too long in coming. :?

Hi,

We are in final stages PC and Mac of playtest to squash bugs and tweak balance issues. The goal is a simultaneous release of Mac and PC versions.

This means that Mac and PC players can play against each other PBEM CEAW-GS 2.0 .

We are shooting for a March timeframe. :)

That could be anytime before the end of this century. :D

If you want to try early you can always volunteer for being a beta tester, provided you have some time to play some turns per day to get to the end of a game within a few weeks. :)

 I'm still working full-time and only "promise" a turn a day on working days. :(

The point is that we need to get the game to end to collect victory level and if we want to complete all games in February for a March release it means you need to make 2-3 turns a day to complete a game in time. Some turns are quick to make since little is happening, but later there is some action going on so turns might take 10-15 minutes to do.

Usually it's easier to play faster if you find an opponent in the same time zone as yourself.

While I'm excited at the idea of beta-testing, it would probably skew your statistics anyway. I'm at the absolute beginning of learning vanilla CEAW (1.06) with four games under my belt. So unless there is a similarly experience-challenged player in or near the Pacific Time Zone it probably wouldn't be as useful to the developers.
