I took it as pointing to himself. But I wasn't the one above him.
You can call me junk - and type that with one hand.

I wonder if Tim can make a few quick ships.

I could code in hit locations chances and "turn limits" so ships can't do a "180", they'll have to slowly turn 45 degrees per tile.

Could be just a fun little project, for kicks and grins ... but with france coming out sooner or later we might not have to time to play naval games.

Don't know now to take that ... since my post was the one directly previous to this "Note" and since I do not imbide, I don't know if I was insulted or not. Explanation of the comment is probably needed.
Heh - I was giving fair warning that I made the post on a Friday night while a little jolly, that's all. Oh the irony that the warning itself needed a warning ;)

Cheers

Naval battles sound interesting. You would only have one turret and set of guns using the present BA. I'm afraid I don't have any spare time at the moment to build ships but perhaps we could have a go some time in the future.

Very interesting choice of a naval battle game.
I think BBC Academy offers many more possibilities.
Have you thought about a Napoleonic BBC Academy?

Hope you guys dont get intimedated by the challenges in making a naval game and give it serious consideration and hope it can go beyond just adding to a land battle. Plenty of WWII battles without aircraft.
