Re: Erik's campaigns, mods and multiplayer scenarios
Not to be sour grapes as I did quite enjoy the recent version of Tarawa 2 vs 2, but there seemed to be an issue with the Japanese victory condition? If I remember correctly, it said I needed to retain at least one objective to win. My side retained at least three, however at the conclusion were told we suffered a major defeat. Could be worth looking in to, assuming it wasn't simply confusion on my part
Re: Erik's campaigns, mods and multiplayer scenarios

Re: Erik's campaigns, mods and multiplayer scenarios
I felt like the earlier iterations of Operation Dragoon ended a bit early, so nice to approach things from the other side and see how they work out. Never too soon to implement new ideas I guess.
Re: Erik's campaigns, mods and multiplayer scenarios
In the latest scenario updates I have used AI in refined searchs like "list Chinese airbases/locations in 1937 with air unit names/types" for Japanese/Chinese war and something similar for Dragoon.
I am very happy with the results so far in my never-ending-story of scenario updates.
As of this day I'm retired after 43 years working for Norwegian Broadcasting. More time for OOB and writing songs/playing guitar in my 2 bands. Life is good

That's a relief, thought you might be planning a round the world cruise!

For one terrifying second I thought you were saying you were retiring from Order of Battle! LLMs can come in handy for stuff like this. Mind they can also come in handy for, other things...Erik2 wrote: Tue Sep 01, 2026 8:15 am In the latest scenario updates I have used AI in refined searchs like "list Chinese airbases/locations in 1937 with air unit names/types" for Japanese/Chinese war and something similar for Dragoon.

Wait, was it Norway that came up with that "de-enshittification" public service thingy a while back? Definitely some European country. Canada is far too gormless sadly. And funny you should mention the guitar, just yesterday I was chatting with a fellow at the bus stop about the guitar stand he bought. He said he owed $700 to the music store so I gave him precise instructions (which I will not repeat here, but if you're curious it was Ars Technica that first reported it) on how to make $500 a month renting out his laptop. To North Korean spies. My good deed for the day?
