I’ve just implemented and tested the axe-swing animation; it turned out really well and visually looks just like a real axe blow. I’m going to tweak the axe itself a bit, though—in my view, it needs to be slightly smaller and positioned closer to the front of the unit. That said, the size is perfect for my Etruscan "problem solvers."

Perhaps this one will be better, i filled an additional 9 frames with the axe but i am not sure if this will interfere with the damage animation of the opposing unit.

That is true – for reasons of time and other circumstances, there will be no new Panzer Corps content from me. On the previous page, I replied to a post by Imeror, since he had actively worked on content for this mod himself. As I had meanwhile finished the Republican Legion units and the gladiators, I offered to make these files available to him in case he was still interested in working on this subject and wanted to continue using them. After that, I thought I might as well make them available to everyone else who would like to create their own content for SPQR – whether simply for private use or for publication. That way, the units can at least still be put to good use.

I’d be happy to keep working on *March of the Eagles* from time to time.
I’m only in the second year of the First Punic War so far, so there’s still plenty more to do.
Plus, if I recall correctly, the last update added the Athenians and Spartans, and I thought there was a perfect mix of land battles and naval expeditions during the Peloponnesian War to create a great panzer corps campaign.

For now, I’m focused on *Modern Conflicts*, but I definitely plan to return to *March of the Eagles* occasionally!

I hope other creators will also drop by and try adding some content as well.
It's a very solid mod.
