Here are thoughts on Infantry towed arty and AT options.
Gigiduru is performing exactly as I hoped the Grenadiere should no changes and may use him sparingly as only thing left to get would be a 3rd Hero.
Same for Soljaism, but he suffers much more damage than Gigiduru.

Artemis change? What are your thoughts on that?

Kostia has one more training scenario left before he is Sahariana again until 3rd hero.
Pete Mitchell is ready for a change, but to what Krad? I think not, switch roles with Artemis and make Artemis the Pza 44?

Pullig will go back to Fallschimjager until he gets 3rd hero. Might take a while.

Richard is trying to be trained up to at least 1 unit to 5th star before Berlin infantry switch. Not sure it can happen. Thoughts?

Raduku is awaiting 5th star and 2nd hero, before I rest him for Berlin.
Kei will probably be utilized on every scenario as he has only been back benched a few scenarios this entire game.

Jemhadarr is going to finally become an 8.8 Pak
I want to see what he can do with all of that movement. ;)

Goose is in my favorite form. I plan on utilizing him in current form and plan on letting up only if he reaches 3rd hero status.

DanielS may stay as Puma or may change based on what becomes available. Let me know if there is something coming I should keep an eye out for.

Locarnus is going to ack up huge kills quick to get 3rd hero and then rest for Berlin

Rauno will be Jagdtiger to try out to get kills, but may jump him up to Tiger 2+ s10 once you get 3rd Hero to maximize kills and then decide what he will be in Berlin for final battles.

Kapl will continue every battle where I will try as Sturmpanther and see if that helps. Using every battle until he gets 3rd hero and 4th star.

Michal is my hope for getting a 2nd tank to 5th star so will try and use until he gets there, and then if he still does not have 3rd hero will wait until Berlin to try and garner in last 2 battles of the game.

Festival has been backbenched but need to add him for 3rd hero training, just have so many to train.

Temis is a risky play to get to 5th star. Not sure I can, but hoping that he averages 5 exp points per scenario and he will get there. Deployed every battle.

ElBaron is the same as Festival.

Gooseboy is almost there as if I get him to 4 stars and above 1750 in kills I will save last training for 3rd hero for last 2 battles.

DoctorG struggled as Pz4/70 hoping 3rd hero comes soon so he can rest but not sure he is functioning the way I hoped.

Pierre will be grinding every scenario to get 5th star and 3rd hero, not sure he can get there, but will try.

Reoguru will struggle as Nashorn. Really hoping that changes once he gets 2nd hero, hoping for +3 Def. He gets brutalized if bad weather or is found by their big dog units. He is a walking talking egg shell, that has bite.

Rimski is the same as Festival

Paramecium continues to get grinded and unsure if 4th star or 3rd hero will change anything but going to keep grinding until I get there.

Hm, Artemis movement hero on Jäger means that they do not need any transport.
PeteMitchell with a1a2 heroes would probably make the most of the PzA 44 unit, with its already integrated transport.

Richard d2d2 heroes are not great for usage as arty throughout 45, but I'm struggling to find a good upgrade option that does not waste the expensive SdKfz transport.

How about upgrading Reoguru from Nashorn in AT mode to the 8.8cm Pak 43?
While not as mobile as the Nashorn, at least the Pak is a soft target with better ini.
And keeping Jemhadar as the Flak a bit longer, perhaps if Reoguru gets an attack hero they can switch later.

Unfortunately there is no new equipment coming for the SdKfz 23x family.

Hm, maybe I can give the Germans the SU-152 option for the KV family. It will be pretty bad due to its 3 ammo and I do not think that I have a correct graphic for arty mode, but it could at least provide a bit of arty training to reach 4 stars.

7 Bowls has a couple of options. SU-100 or T34-76. Thoughts? If SU-100 I want 3rd movement hero to help him as AT, if not then anything is possible.

NightPhoenix I will try to use him every other battle, but find his use less than ideal.

Blast is going to be an every scenario unit training trying to get him to 5 stars and hopefully a 3rd hero. After that I want to save him for a last scenario change option to take advantage of his Initiative and Att heroes.

Soren is a mystery as he is almost at the needed 4th star but am unsure what to do with him after that. Thoughts?

ForestLaw will be trainind to 5th star and then maybe change back to Nashorn duty to try and crash my way to a 3rd hero?

Rightside is so close to 5th star I kind of want to upgrade him right at the start of 45 to try out the new tank to get him to 3rd hero status. Thoughts about waiting until 5th star or close enough?

Singer will get trained up to 5th star and then perhaps be saved up for late game change to a different unit?

Dneos is used sparingly based on his 3 ammo but should get him up to 5 stars before Berlin.

Jemhadarr was thinking of the Pak treatment but will discuss with you tom.

Zyavoo will be exercised up to 4th star and 3rd hero and then rest.

RayCaster will prob stop at 5th star Malcolm will stop after 3rd hero.

vonThuringen will remain my sole dedicated Bf. What version so it does not conflict with the SE version I will be awarded in 1st 45 scenario.

Couch has tried so now I intend to make him the Big Dog Henkel for funsies. Probably, but will concentrate on training other units first as do not see myself getting it to a 2nd hero and he is so far behind on experience just feel I need to prioritize others that can be more effective. Agree?

Richard is going to be trained up to 2nd hero and then will hold until Berlin.

Ai181 is done until Berlin.

Noxush, BlackVulture, Aratobela, cmbbfan, and FighterAce will be thrown in as many as I can until I get a 3rd hero then they will rest until Berlin.

RMA will be the first jet fighter to get 2nd hero and then will wait for Berlin.

Alvarez is in the same boat as Couch and will use to try and get 5 stars or 2nd hero, but not prioritizing.

Slender1870 will get 5th star hopefully by 3rd scenario, it is slow going with him, but once he pops will either be 2nd jet and try to get to 3rd hero or just wait until Berlin not sure.

Mafujkhan is my biggest hope as I think I can get him a 5th star and 2nd hero quickly so then can switch up to fighter for final battles to maybe try for 3rd hero. Maxxed out air guy maybe Mafuj.

Thoughts?

Tiger II B s8 will probably get more kills than Jagdtiger r8s8, due to higher rof. But since a 3rd hero is unlikely anyway, I would probably go for the Jagdtiger r8s8 just for fun.

Sturmpanther in arty mode is certainly the best option to reach 4 stars.

You could convert Temis to Sturmtiger and use in arty mode. That should allow him to reach 5 stars.

Oh, that is unfortunate. JPz IV/70 is basically a slower Panther that can switch to camo AT mode. Perhaps the fact that the player is often attacking, even in defensive scenarios, diminishes its value.

Pierre will be grinding every scenario to get 5th star and 3rd hero, not sure he can get there, but will try.
The StuH 44+ (higher attack and range), or PzSfl IVb (higher attack and much higher range, but less armor) will be better for experience training. And Pierre has the best chance to reach 5 stars, compared to NightPhoenix and Soren.

As written earlier, Reoguru could work as the 8.8 Pak 43, but only if he gets an attack +3 second hero. Then he still has the option to switch with Jemhadar later on, if the Pak needs double movement hero more than the Flak.

I will make the SU-152 available in the KV line (since they use the same chassis). Terrible ammo, but at least it allows him to train as an arty.

SU-100 is like a weaker Jagdpanther, so imho pretty serviceable with that extreme a6 hero bonus.

Tough one. Also not sure. Only an a3 hero could actually save the unit, just like it did for Michal. Then he could be any frontline unit where the spotting at least provides some use. But not sure which one.

I'm not sure where those Panzer IV chassis units should end up. Including Soren, ForestLaw and PanzerVorwärts. I'll have to think a bit more about those.

Rightside is so close to 5th star I kind of want to upgrade him right at the start of 45 to try out the new tank to get him to 3rd hero status. Thoughts about waiting until 5th star or close enough?
I would certainly wait for 5th star before changing. An additional Panther-like unit that does not need training anyway and costs a lot of prestige to transition is imho not an immediate priority.

Singer will get trained up to 5th star and then perhaps be saved up for late game change to a different unit?
I would just keep him for now, same as Dneos. The attack heroes make excellent use out of the rof 12.

Dneos is used sparingly based on his 3 ammo but should get him up to 5 stars before Berlin.

Jemhadarr was thinking of the Pak treatment but will discuss with you tom.
I would let Reoguru take the Pak for now, as written earlier.

Zyavoo will be exercised up to 4th star and 3rd hero and then rest.

RayCaster will prob stop at 5th star

Malcolm will stop after 3rd hero.

vonThuringen will remain my sole dedicated Bf. What version so it does not conflict with the SE version I will be awarded in 1st 45 scenario.
The bonus SE hero fighter joining in 45e1 will be a Bf 109 K-4+. So if you do not want to use the non plus K-4, then the G-10+ GP is next best version for vonThüringen.

Couch has tried so now I intend to make him the Big Dog Henkel for funsies. Probably, but will concentrate on training other units first as do not see myself getting it to a 2nd hero and he is so far behind on experience just feel I need to prioritize others that can be more effective. Agree?
If you want to go for fun rather than effectiveness, then perhaps the Ar 234 jet bomber is an option. It can switch between strat bomber mode for experience and tac bomber mode for a few kills. I would first use strat mode go get that 4th star asap.
Although it is expensive, has mediocre attack values and no defensive air attack, it has great defense stats. Which could prove useful against those experienced enemy fighters when combined with the d3 hero. I'm thinking about making it about 10% cheaper in the next update.

Ai181 is done until Berlin.

Noxush, BlackVulture, Aratobela, cmbbfan, and FighterAce will be thrown in as many as I can until I get a 3rd hero then they will rest until Berlin.
Interesting :shock: :wink: . Those would all have low training priority for me, especially compared to the 4 you mention below.

RMA will be the first jet fighter to get 2nd hero and then will wait for Berlin.
Yeah, I think having that one as the Me 262 will be very valuable for the next scenarios.

Alvarez is in the same boat as Couch and will use to try and get 5 stars or 2nd hero, but not prioritizing.
Imho Alvarez has the interesting choice of prioritizing 2nd hero or 5th star, with either being achievable but probably not both.
For 2nd hero he could be changed to tank hunter Ju 88 P-4 when in tac bomber mode, and be deployed instead of AratoBela and cmbbfan (both of them not really needing more kills). Same rof as Ju 87 G-2 r9, but nearly all other stats are better.
Or stay as the Ju 188, which already has decent soft attack in tac bomber mode.


Slender1870 will get 5th star hopefully by 3rd scenario, it is slow going with him, but once he pops will either be 2nd jet and try to get to 3rd hero or just wait until Berlin not sure.

Mafujkhan is my biggest hope as I think I can get him a 5th star and 2nd hero quickly so then can switch up to fighter for final battles to maybe try for 3rd hero. Maxxed out air guy maybe Mafuj.
