Project Expansion: Advanced Unit Variants and Tactical Systems
I am currently scaling up the development of multiple weapon system variants to offer more specialized tactical options. Rather than a "one-size-fits-all" approach, I am diversifying unit roles based on real-world capabilities, ranges, and combat data.
1. Specialized Rotary-Wing Variants
Mi-28 (Havoc): Moving beyond a hybrid role. I am developing a dedicated Anti-Armor variant specifically optimized for hard targets/MBT elimination, mirroring modern "Tank Hunter" configurations.
Mi-24 (Hind) & Mi-8 (Hip): These are being fine-tuned for Anti-Infantry/Suppression roles, utilizing authentic troop-support weapon loadouts.
2. Heavy Artillery & Strategic Assets
TOS-1A (Solntsepyok): Rebalanced to reflect its real-world lethality; its thermobaric effects are now absolute within the strike zone.
Tu-160M2: Upgraded to support multiple profiles, including Gravity Bombs and Glide Bombs with a 3-hex standoff range.
Su-34: Configured for versatility, including AA, Air-to-Ground, and a specialized FAB-3000 variant designed for bunker-busting and massed infantry neutralization.
Strategic Weapons: Implementation of Neutron Bombs is currently in development for high-radiation/low-structure-damage scenarios.
3. Defensive Structures & Fortifications
Bunker Systems: New variants including reinforced concrete bunkers and extensive trench-line fortifications.
Fortified Positions: Implementation of entrenched mortars and enhanced minefield mechanics.
Logistics: Advanced supply chain hubs, including dedicated ammunition depots and fuel storage facilities.
4. Electronic Warfare (EW) & Reconnaissance
Integration of high-tier EW systems such as Krasukha-4, Moskva, and Murmansk. These will function as sophisticated "fog-of-war" manipulators, providing long-range detection, espionage, and signal jamming.
Radar Systems: Dedicated radar units for early warning and airspace control.
5. UAV & Loitering Munitions Integration
I am currently evaluating the best deployment mechanic for drones:
Option A: Infantry-operated UAVs (like the Lancet) acting as "extended-range artillery."
Option B: Standalone drone units.
Current focus: Refining the "launcher" mechanic to determine which units are responsible for deployment.
6. Countermeasures & Immersion
Modern Protection: Introduction of "Cope Cages" (anti-drone netting) for tanks and camouflaged artillery positions.
VIP Units: High-value targets including political leaders (e.g., Putin, Trump) for scenario-based objectives.
Medical Infrastructure: Proposed hospital systems to facilitate unit recovery and healing mechanics.
The Goal: Once I streamline the asset/image integration process, the library of units will expand significantly. This will provide a comprehensive, realistic, and highly tactical experience.
