Hi guys,
I tried using resized images and converted them to PNG, but the game doesn’t accept them. It seems I need to make it in 2D. Someone sent me some kind of guide, but I’m not sure how to do it.

If anyone knows how this works and what program to use, I’d really appreciate it. I have GIMP — can it be done with that?

Thanks for any advice.
P.S. I’m lost without this.

Also, can the images be resized or cropped from the original? What pixel size should they be?

Everything works except for the effects—I don’t know how to do those yet and I don't really need them for myself right now anyway. I'll see, I'll keep trying. I’m adding some photos from the test, they look great! :) I’d love to hear your feedback in the comments."

Overall, I really like it, and I'm looking forward to trying out these new units.

A suicide drone with 26 HA for 150 prestige points is going to be awesome; I'm going to have a lot of fun with that.

However, I don't really like having a plane directly facing me. Not because I feel like it's going to bomb me :lol: but rather because all the other units are mostly viewed from the side.
For some things, like buildings, there aren't many other options for aesthetics, but for an air unit, it bothers me quite a bit.

And I see that you've unlocked all the unit types in the buy screen, including structures and warships. Is there a way to unlock them quickly?
I like to start a blank scenario with the factions I want to play to see the entire roster and choose what I'll deploy in my scenarios. Being able to see the warships like that would make me speed up quite a bit.

I agree, that drone flying towards the screen reminds me of the old game Galactica ))) But I’m sure our new talent will get the hang of it and delight us with his latest creations ) And while he’s at it, he could share the instructions—unless, of course, he’s already joined the brotherhood of the silent ones )))

The style is really cool.

However, since it's very different from the base mod, you'll also need to do it for the other factions to ensure a visually consistent experience. But hey, now that you're on a roll, I doubt you'll stop there anyway. :mrgreen:

Another recommendation : it would be good to keep at least one soldier with a rifle raised towards the enemy on each icon. When a unit fires, a firing animation plays in front of it. It's generally a bit cleaner visually to see the burst coming from a cannon and not from the soldiers' bodies. This is the case for your VDV and the marine infantry.

And a small request: it might be good to also include mortars. They're an essential weapon that's found practically everywhere, but they weren't included in the base mod. I guess Akkula preferred to focus on the operational or strategic scale and didn't see the point in adding a weapon with a more tactical role (the mortar is used to support a platoon rather than an entire battalion); but since MC can support this tactical scale quite well, I think we can seriously consider adding this weapon.

I agree with you – mortars and motorbikes, as well as various pick-up trucks, are all the rage these days and are great for reconnaissance )
