Such script events would spice up the game! And gold was indeed very valuable for the nearly broke Germany at that time.
Not sure how complex the implementation should be.
I guess it could be an enemy unit that moves towards an objective. Perhaps with camo trait? That would also make it invisible from the air, so that a ground unit would have to catch it.
For Battlefield Europe I'm currently only modding the main scenario until BE 2.5, so this would unfortunately predate that.
But McGuba says that BE 2.5 is nearly ready.
Maybe I should first try implementing such an event in the Norway scenario of the original campaign?

This April update changes the "selected unit" indicator for the purchase and upgrade screen to have a red border but less highlighted unit background. Imho the red border makes it easier to spot the selected unit in the huge list, especially when upgrading a unit. While the reduced highlighted unit background area makes the unit name more readable (white font over grey background is easier to read than white font over light yellow highlighted background).
Also several changes to BE main scenario. Reducing the Western Ally bonus experience for no Axis blocking of convoy routes. Which imho worked ok with normal difficulty settings, but could push the Allies into overdrive with eg 150% enemy experience difficulty setting. Also some terrain adjustments around the north-western Caspian Sea area (eg clear instead of desert terrain type, catching up to BE 2.4...).
More prestige for the early original campaign transitions to USA East Coast. Making those direct but suboptimal paths a bit less punishing.
Important change for the early Soviet Corps campaign: Three upgrade families are joined together.
T-26 joins with Valentine, T-28 with Matilda II and BT with T-34.
This imho makes T-26, T-28 and BT more viable in the early campaign, since they are not a dead end anymore after the first 3 scenarios.
