Re: AOredone, for none steam users
Hello. I've just discovered your mod and it's great. I'm French and I play with french language. However, the briefings are in English and French. Is there any way to fix this? And where can I fix it myself? Best regards.

Hello, the briefings are all in English. I don't have this problem because I only installed the English version; I think to avoid problems you should switch to the English version. Translating all the briefings into French would be a very long job, you can do it by opening each scenario in the scenario editornono hard et heavy wrote: ↑Thu Nov 13, 2025 2:14 pm Hello. Re: AOredone, for none steam users
Since I can see the units file decreased from 1930 to 1830, that means 100 entries were removed, correct?Andrea69 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 22, 2025 3:39 pm Hello, AOredone 1943 East is ready

Re: AOredone, for none steam users
Well, this clearly depends on which version of the mod you had installed before this one... I think yours was quite old, since some time ago a revision of units.csv was made eliminating several redundant entriesT2_2112 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 26, 2025 7:26 amSince I can see the units file decreased from 1930 to 1830, that means 100 entries were removed, correct?Andrea69 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 22, 2025 3:39 pm Hello, AOredone 1943 East is ready

Re: AOredone, for none steam users
Well, this is a long-time setting of this mod; yes, especially in early war, small air defense guns in artillery mode can be quite dangerous for your light tanks, you have to be careful about this
Re: AOredone, for none steam users
If u ever had witnessed a "small" caliber gun (20mm is 2cm, that a pretty big bullet) firing at an "old" tank (something build in the 50s) u wouldn´t ask such a question.
Early ww2 tanks like the Panzer I were build to withstand normal infantry weapons. anything beyond 10mm could rip them apart.
The current units.csv of the mods is in a very good place compared to vanilla. If u want to read more about this topic just scroll through the posts for PC1 remake, Storm over europe or this post. This topic has been talked about and explained several times already.
sers,
Thomas
Re: AOredone, for none steam users
I understand the difference between a 20mm and a thin armor tank, but why not use the AT mode? The 20mm Type 98 is the only one with an AT mode, but the rest using artillery mode seems a bit strange when they fire straight.Grondel wrote: ↑Sat Nov 29, 2025 12:21 am

BTW, I have the way to suitable with the mod already, thanks for your answer
Re: AOredone, for none steam users
Yes, I needed to develop another tactic to advance, but the Spanish Civil War with no core infantry still causes some suffering for my team. However, I still stand. Great mod anyway!

All 1.6 download links are down. Any permanent link?

Re: AOredone, for none steam users
Hello andrea.
I have a question : what's news in update 1.7 ? It is possible to play years 44 and 45 ? I finished the Year 43 non-historical scenario. I enjoyed the elite units. However, I do not use: Wehr, Cavalry and Gerbisjager elites. I would have preferred Fighters and Tactical Bombers Elites. At least 2 units for each. Nevertheless, the mod is excellent. Achieving an elite victory within the time limit is difficult. Difficult, but not impossible.
Greetings.
Bruno
