Close match which saw spearmen and legionaries clash on the left while more mobile units battled on the right. Carthaginians defeated most of the Roman cavalry after a tough fight while the legionaries and Carthaginian spearmen fought each other to a standstill - Legionaries threatened to break the line with initial success but the Carthaginian units who remained dug in and had to rely on autobreaks to keep the Romans in check. A game of Round-the-Mulberry Bush as a predominantly foot Aragonese force held a hill and the predominantly, Knightly Castillians, tried (and eventually did) find a way to shoot and charge their way up.

Triarii (Andalusians) defeats Morat (Frankish) 45-18

Franks on a hill came and looked at Andalusians in woods and rough ground who turned out to have lots of missile troops.
Franks went back up the hill but missile losses were high. When they came down the hill again not quite enough of them to prevent Andalusian flanking. Alternative Hastings?
As ever vs Morat a good tough game thank you.

We did not post the correct result with rockmanbob123 He retreated into a rock outcropping and it ended with my 25 to his 41 but was draw which I edged.

I am confused now as to which of my games was not reported finished? By my book all were done.

By my record - although the game no longer on the servers to verify - I won that 45 to 19 in early August. Thank you and very sorry. Been a rough couple of months.
