The next mission is hellish. Perhaps I could have escaped from these deadly clutches, but the Ju 87 stormers completely dominate the skies, supported by Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighters. Now I need to find the key to victory, as there are many enemies and they are attacking intensively and en masse, supported by artillery and armoured vehicles (if you have any advice or recommendations, I'm ready to listen).

i`ve used the scenario editor and replaced it with the polish HQ Unit, Lux units with border Guards and so on...!
It works fine and the campaign is so coooooool.

i`ve working on the Equipment file for PaK Mod, to get polish prototypes as elite units- 8 Tanks,1 Fighter and 2 tac Bomber.
Reduced german unit strength from 15/12 to 10 (Infantry,Tanks,Art)
In all scenarios wrong german units replaced.
I`m testing now, but have to work today.

To appear as a random hero, you need to add them to the list in the heroes.pzdat file (data folder)
Here is an example of the random heroes for the Polish campaign:

All in the same file, you should add first and last names

6 Jan
6 Piotr
6 Tomasz

6 Nowak
6 Kowalski
6 Wiśniewski

And then the specific photographs

6 0 -1 polish_ground10.png
6 0 -1 polish_ground2.png
6 0 -1 polish_ground3.png

It's pretty easy, in that file you can browse the make-up for all those names and pictures and army branch, faction,... initially entered for the vanilla campaigns.


If you want assign a hero to a specific unit with a historical correct name/picture: shift-left click the unit, chose heroes and fill in the required data. For example name: Nikivdd, image: Nikivdd.png and the other boxes are pretty obvious.

The pictures themselves go into the UI\heroes folder

Thanks for the update! I've never retreated so quickly before ))) The main thing was to resist the temptation to beat the Germans to a pulp, because then the trap would have snapped shut ) But we made a triumphant escape, although the German pilots were very upset because they had managed to wreak a little havoc ))) To be continued ......

Another mission completed, it was an epic battle to hold our positions against hordes of fascists ) The German air force caused me the most trouble, as my planes, alas, didn't last long and were weak ))) The rest of the guys held their ground and counterattacked as best they could ))) More details in the screenshots and replays. We are now waiting to liberate the prisoners and escort them to their cherished rescue points. We were even allowed to take an armoured train with us, which was just gathering dust in the depot ))) To be continued ......
