Note: "Poland 1939" mod version 1.4 allows you to play a campaign with the Polish Army. The first three scenarios cover the period from September 1937 to October 1938, while the remaining ones focus on the battles of September 1939. The mod also includes 'The "Black Brigade" campaign. "The Black Brigade" is a short campaign focuses on the combat trail of the only fully motorized unit of Polish Army in 1939 - the 10th Cavalry Brigade. The file should be extracted to the following location: C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\Order of Battle - WW2\Mods.

Wow buddy, great campaign, a bit short, but a thumbs up for the Polish campaign. From what I know, creating defensive scenarios isn't easy, and here the result is really good. Cool unit skins, even the German armored vehicles have white crosses from 1939. Thanks for this mod. I had a lot of fun playing it.

Thanx Mattparey. Right now, I'm in the process of improving the entire mod "Poland 1939" and translating it into English. It might take a while because I'm encountering some issues with the AI endless thinking in certain scenarios. From my experience, the problem arises when at least two teams have the same objective, there are a lot of units, and there's not enough space for them. Sometimes, I can fix it quickly, but other times, it's frustratingly problematic. "The Black Brigade" campaign doesn't pose such issues because there are fewer units involved. However, I remain optimistic, and I should be able to release a new version of the entire mod with a full campaign and few new scenarios by the end of the year. As if anyone cares...

I know that he did not serve in the 10th Cavalry Brigade, so but he can be made as a boss and Easter eggs! I think this courageous brave Polish tankman is worthy of mentions in the game )

On September 1, 1939, that is, by the time of the German attack on Poland, Poland's tank fleet numbered 867 tanks and tankettes, including 50 Renault R35s, 67 Renault FTs (modernized World War I tanks), 38 Vickers 6 tons, 135 Polish-made 7TR tanks (based on the Vickers 6 tons design), and 577 TK-3 and TK-9 tankettes created in Poland on the model of the British Carden-Loyd Mk VI tankette. In addition, there were 100 armored cars, 14 of them of 1929 model and 86 of 1934 model. Most of this equipment was assessed as obsolete.

Im testing it and you should add 3-4 turns to first mission : even by rushing it, i can't even reach the top upper goal ! and there are 2 enemy units on it! i hope there will be no more rushing mission, i hate that . rushing = zero strategy = just luck.

You can either wait and let the infantry reach a strength of 10 points or start operations earlier and supplement them from your RP. Winning in the first case is also possible, but you need to carefully consider your actions and attack routes and hurry. I tried to depict real events in the scenarios, basing them on book sources. There will probably be one more scenario like this. Overall, it's a campaign against a stronger enemy, involving conducting delaying actions and avoiding being encircled by the enemy, so I understand that it can be frustrating at times. I don't like to rush either, but as I mentioned earlier, I wanted to capture the spirit of historical events and the campaign's character.

ok i understand but why not adding some recon plane or make the map visible ? because it si just rushing without zero visibility . I m doing the third mission ( i have passed the mission 2 because of no interest in rushing too )

In the second half of the maneuvers, a heavy rain started to fall, and the planes couldn't fly. You can use divisional cavalry and TKS tankettes for terrain reconnaissance. The image is from the Polish language version, but that doesn't matter. In crucial moments, I tried to emphasize in events iformations that have significance. Pay attention to them.

In the second scenario, there's no need to hurry. I was referring to the fifth scenario - "Wiśnicz." In this one, you need to execute a long retreat, and if you engage in battles, it's hard to make it in time. If you're having difficulty, you can take a look at how I played it. Sometimes it's hard to understand the style and intent of the person creating the scenario. I've also lose a few times on various mods.

There is no need to hurry, you still won't have time to catch up with President Ignatius Moscitsky, the government, Foreign Minister Beck and most importantly - Polish Commander-in-Chief Edward Rydz-Smigly with his staff!

I am 3 scenarios in and enjoying it very much. Nice timing, I missed a win 3 times with only one turn needed tot win. Good surprises, not too much, not too little, I love it. Thanks for making this, very welcome 'content'.

Thank you. It's nice that someone enjoys my work. But be warned, in the next scenarios, it may get more challenging. Sometimes the trick is to break off contact with the enemy in time and withdraw to preselected positions, rather than fighting and holding positions until the end.

Yes, I learned that in this campaign it is very clever to follow the scenario text. Using the groups for what they are supposed to do gives good results (until now ). Really enjoying it a lot.

When an army withdraws, it leaves someone to hold the enemy that the main forces could withdraw to the pre-prepared lines of defence ) If the army just runs it is already a tactical defeat and there is such an expression while the enemy charatichno runs and did not come to his senses, to break in on his back ))))))

I think it's relatively easy to modify some scenarios to play as the Wehrmacht. I'm planning to create a campaign for the Army Corps: XVI, XIX, and XXII. However, I don't have time for it right now. Besides, these campaigns would be quite short.
