Indibil with Greco Bactrian Army beat Brenmusik with Thessalian 60 - 45
On the Greco-Bactrian left side the elephants were totally exterminated but the power of grec pikes was decisive to win the battle.
Thanks for the game Brenmusik

Rockmanbob123 (selecuids) defeated Egmont (samites) 44-14
The Samites set up their defense on a hill on the Selecuid left with their cavalry and light forces in the woods behind the hill.
The Selecuids elected to attack by first moving their horses to the right and far enough to outflank the hill. The Samite reserves were forced into a skirmish on their left with the selecuid horse while the heavy selecuid infantry on the right steamrolled the weaker samnite infantry
Thanks for the game Egmont!

rockmanbob123 (Seleucids) defeated Lauraleik (indo-greeks) 60-38
This battle was closer than the score would show.
The Seleucid cavalry on the left was able to disperse the Indo-greek horse and the Seleucid phalanxes attacked the indogreek pikes the indo greek elephants maneuvered to flank the Seleucid left but were delayed by a patch of rough ground in the center and a small Seleucid force of camel and light infantry that delayed the elephants long enough for the Seleucid phalanxes to rout the Indo greek center. As the battle ended the indo greek pachyderms were wreaking havoc in the Selecuid rear.

Re: ADT 2025: RESULTS THREAD UP!
Well, King Pyrrhis and his army did make it to Egypt, to a very warm greeting from Ptolemy and his army. The Pyrrhic army is now recuperating on the beaches after a very hard fought victory. Some might call it a Pyrrhic victory
Score King Pyrrhis defeats Ptolemy 63 to 49.
As usual against a successor army, the Pyrrhic phalanx was outnumbered in quality and count by the Ptolemaic phalanx, and had a superiority in cavalry and rough equality in medium and light infantry. However, all the Ptolemaic cavalry was deployed on the left wing, with good support from all types of troops. So that battle was roughly equal in numbers, but the Ptolemy's excellent tactical use of his elephant and camel invariably meant that my cavalry was at a disadvantage, and the single supporting phalanx was unstoppable, leading to an almost complete rout of my right wing.
The Ptolemaic phalanx took up position on a low hill, but was lured down by the rash pursuit of a skirmisher by one of my phalanx. My supporting cavalry, elephant and Italian infantry couldn't really land any flank attacks, but, in the end, they stretched the Ptolemaic line enough to provide gaps for my phalanx to double team, eventually opening up holes in their line and leading to an almost complete collapse of the Ptolemaic phalanx.
This lead to a very unusual end game where Pyrrhis commanded more phalanx than his opponent, and less cavalry. The victorious Ptolemaic left wing, while devoting a few troops to chasing down fleeing survivors, rushed to the aid of the few remaining Ptolemaic phalanx (one was led by a leader that had initially fragmented against an even odds Pyrrhic charge, but then rallied his broken unit and returned to the fight!).
Battle eventually ensued almost as a meeting engagement, with lots of flanks being exposed and exploited, but eventually the Pyrrhic phalanx triumphed!
A good game, and a fitting end to the Pyrrhic army's travels.

Ptolemaic cavalry pressed forward and managed to tear into the skirmish line causing chaos. When both armies met, they gradually pressed into engagement but with the greek losses mounted high from their skirmishers, the Ptolemaic host found itself victorious! (9-44)

This is she our fateful medusa who has rendered herself incomplete. I am at a loss as to what to do, opinions welcome.
Right now Chris Townsend versus Simon for the Championship? Or Chris versus rockmanbob123 and Simon versus Karvon then winners meet in final?

rpadilla (PTO) v ironclad is complete (MAC) - (PTO) wins 15-40
*Don't know if this was added to the final results.. for a bit I've been posting to the challenge thread!*
Damn good battle with Macedon starting with superior positioning.. after a heated skirmish grapple both belligerent detachments were left battered, though inconclusive; the Ptolemaic army was forced to scramble for a counter that resulted in a mad dash with medium troops to high ground on the PTO right.. battle spanned all across the map. GG Ironclad!

FINAL LEAGUE TABLE - PLAYOFFS ADT 2025: RESULTS THREAD UP!
Tallied the whole carnage up! Had to manually sift through countless dead bodies
(In real life got hit with two new jobs this year, one disappointing and another showed up in July while I was busy moving my WW2-born modern between continents and running this mud-wrestle).
Here is the FINAL table - I am handing out League awards and announcing the playoffs to declare a final DIADOCHOI the true successor of Alexander. Strangely the results of the top 4 Pyrrhus, Perdicas, Seleucus, and Antipater are probably the 4 that Alexander would have chosen from according to extensive historic debate, with Pyrrhus being the closest related by blood to the great Iskander (little known fact).
THE PLAYOFFS (1st v. 4th and 2nd v. 3rd)
SIMON (ANTIPATER) v. IRONCLAD (PERDICAS)
CHRIS (PYRRHUS) v. ROCKMANBOB123 (SELEUCUS)
USE STOCK ARMIES ONLY! No ALLIES - WINNERS FACE OFF POST RESULTS HERE
The Awards!
GORT7078 - gets the "PTOLEMY I SOTER" prize for finishing his battles quickest
(Ptolemy survived by staying out of direct fights where he could (sent many proxies though) during the wars after initial losses to Seleucus as he realized he would run out of Macedons)

SIMON LANCASTER - gets the "ANTIGONUS MONOPTHALMOS" prize for getting the biggest points difference
(historical Antigonus was the most military successful, but not the most diplomatically so)
CHRIS TOWNSEND - gets the "SELEUCUS I NICATOR" prize for causing the most damage to his opponents (a whopping 426 in 8 matches or 53.25 per match)
(historically SELEUCUS carved the biggest and only real Empire out of Alexander's, and was perhaps the victor of the wars in Asia)

LAURALEIK - gets the "PERDICASS" prize for taking the most damage (a reported 52 stab wounds from his own officers, as Alexander's close friend was betrayed before he could effectively get going 3 years after Alexander's death) - a gifted general interesting what would have happened)
IRONCLAS - gets the "PYRRHUS" prize for having the highest placement with the lowest point difference! Very Pyrrhic of you mate. Most will know this so no historical footnote, the lad also survived the Diadochi Wars with his own Kingdom.

LETS FIND THE TRUE SUCCESSOR!

Semi-final challenge
The semi-final challenge CHRIS (PYRRHUS 280) v. ROCKMANBOB123 (SELEUCUS 320) has been set up, and PM sent.
Interestingly, it appears that this match up is actually of armies of different times and geography.

It is, but Seleucus conquered Anatolia and is marching to take Greece from you. Such an event would have likely been very conducive to similar lists!
