Mods In GOG Version

I am surprised I have found little or no information about how mods are installed to the GOG version.

There is a thread about it on the GOG forum which has received zero replies.

Can anyone assist, please?

in this sup forum u can download several mods. if u have trouble installing them let me know and i´ll try to help.

u can try to add ur PC2 version to steam via the "add non- steam game" button under games menu in steam. not sure if this can be done with games that could be bought on steam.

OK my GOG item is registered on Steam, but the subscribed mod is still not showing in game.

I take it the GOG installation isn't going to natively read mods d/led to the Steam folder.

i discribed how to manually install mods in the mods section.

Steam is automatic, GOG don't mention installing mods to PC2 :0/

Here´s how to do it. if u have more questions, just ask.
Since u alrdy posted in the mods thread i guess ucan find the file urself.

Be sure to download the file from the latest post in the thread. i am not 100% certain the first post got updated.

this is where u need to place the mod. if the folder Mods does not exist there just create one.
C:\Users\xxx\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps 2\Mods

after u start the game go to "mods"->"mod manager" in the main menu and activate the mod.
if u have more than one mod installed be sure to have this one in the lowest row.

now u will see under "new game"->"campaign" the list of campaigns(may have to scroll down a bit)

Then u did something else. hard to say from here what went wrong.

the folder order should look like this now:
...\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps 2\Mods\PanzerCorps1\...

If not u need to make it look like this.

Hi!

Tried everything as described but the mods do not show up in the mod section when I start the game.

Could anyone please give an explanation how to implement mods in the (current) GOG version of the game?

Exact file path, mod file (as ZIPs or unzipped, how many sub directories), ex. org. flags mod.

That would be extremely appreciated since I own the game and many DLCs on GOG and would love to play a mod with my friend. I do not want to spend more on re-buying the game on Steam.

By the way: The developer's website is not working and he seems inactive in forums. Strange, isn't it? He churns out DLCs nonetheless.
